FAD Kids MSD FAD Kids participated in Gallaudet University’s Battle of the Books and made the playoffs. Top 8 teams go to Gallaudet to compete! FAD Kids playing on MSD Girls Varsity and Middle School Basketball teams are having an outstanding season. Boys Varsity and Elementary teams are getting better everyday. Go Tartars!! Thanks! Watch Out This winter the weather has been brutal. Several FAD members lost power for several days during the Ice Storm. Most had limited use generators and everyone is fine. Then came the big snowstorm right after with 18” of snow. Many of us learned that new houses may not have a traditional furnace exhaust chute that goes up the roof. Some of our homes have exhaust pipes that come out of the side of the house. With heavy snow falls, the pipes can become plugged and cause carbon monoxide poisoning. Be sure your pipes are clear of snow. Let your family and friends know. News from FAD Members Janet Deschler wants to announce she is cancer -free! Ken Lowrie’s mother passed away unexpectedly on December 29th. Hugs to the family. Tim & Gloria Hudkins became great grandparents. Their son Teddy is a proud grandpa of Baby Addison. Congrats! Peg & Mel Frelich took their two sons and their families to the Great Wolf Lodge in Sandusky, Ohio. They recommend that place for families with young children. Lucky Euchre Winners during the AFC/NFC games were Peg Frelich 79 -45, Leslie Weber 78 -42, Terry Misener 73 - 45, Bobby Lewis 69 - 57, Rocky Dreyer 69 - 62.
