INTRODUCTION
• Russ Meade• I live in Lake Lure, NC• I love to travel and teach…..both at the same time!• My students ALWAYS come with me wherever I go!• Simply stated …a unrepentant techno Geek!

Purpose of Presentation
• A fun, interactive, hands-on presentation on how to make your classes stand out from the crowd!
• We will demonstrate simple Web 2.0 tools to make your classes the most interactive on the Web.
• We will learn simple techniques on how to make your classes sing, dance and talk back using various, easy to use Web2.0 tools.
• We will hopefully learn how to make your students love your courses so much that they will communicate daily in their own voice and with their web cams not only during class but AFTER AS WELL!

Standard Asynchronous Classes• Written lectures
• Much reading in that “thing” called a textbook!
• Asynchronous Discussion
• Little interaction both during class and
none after class!
• Highly impersonal!
• Finally, a bit boring at times!

YOUR creativity!• Use your microphone, web cam, or even your
telephone.• Allows you to be as CREATIVE as you desire!
• Students love it!
