Gujarat Law Society (GLS) has been in the field of education for nine decades and is considered as one of the largest and most renowned destinations for education in Gujarat. GLS stands as a synonym for contemporary education in the region with its state-of-the-art infrastructure. Visionaries such as Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Shri Ganesh Mavlankar and Sheth Shri Kasturbhai Lalbhai were the first to set lofty standards of excellence in education at GLS, which were greatly enhanced by Shri I.M. Nanavati and Shri H H Bhagwati and taken to their peak by Shri Sudhir Nanavati. In the 91 years since its inception in 1927, GLS has flourished into a mammoth Trust with over 30 institutes offering courses across multiple disciplines at two campuses in Ahmedabad. At present GLS meticulously assists over 24,000 students in crafting their careers and leading them to success. What has not changed over the past 91 years is GLS’ steadfast resolve to always ‘aim higher’ and the motto of ‘Excellence in Education’. This philosophy has led to GLS promoting and sponsoring GLS University in 2015.

GLS University (GLSU) is a statutory state private university established under the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009. GLSU has been set up with the vision to benchmark global standards of education and create path-breaking educational programmes in areas of national and global strategic importance. Besides the existing BCom, MCom, BBA, MBA, BCA and MCA programmes, GLSU has also introduced BDesign, MDesign, IMBA and IMSc(IT). GLSU’s strong research focus is reflected in its research degrees such as MPhil and PhD. GLS and GLSU have promoted its incubator LEAF, supported by Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. LEAF is the nodal institute of the Government of Gujarat to promote new enterprises through the State Startup Assistance Programme and is a disbursement agency of State Government funds to startups in the Ahmedabad region. With a rich legacy of nine decades and a passionate commitment to excellence in education, GLS University is poised to become Gujarat’s first globally relevant university, delivering high quality education at affordable cost.

Faculty of Business Administration was one of the first BBA colleges affiliated to Gujarat University established in 1997 as GLS Institute of Business Administration and later renamed as N R Institute of Business Administration in June 2000. In its 21 years of existence, Faculty of Business Administration has always focused on being not just an undergraduate college, but an undergraduate B-School that prepares its graduates for the rigors of higher management education, the challenges of the corporate world and the intricacies of the entrepreneurial arena. AdmissionEligibility Criteria

a) The applicant must have passed the Gujarat Higher Secondary Education Board (GHSEB)/Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE)/Indian Council of Secondary Examination (ICSE) or its equivalent under the 10 + 2 pattern in Commerce or Science stream, with the following subjects :

(1) English and (2) Any one of the following : (i) Mathematics (ii) Physics (iii) Statistics (iv) Business Mathematics (v) Accountancy

b) The candidate must have obtained the following minimum aggregate marks (i.e., total marks obtained divided by maximum total marks admissible, including marks of all subjects, theory and practical) :

(i) For open category candidates : 45% (ii) For reserved category (SC/ST/SEBC) candidates : 40%

Process• Application Form can be obtained from GLS University campus or login to online admission

portal.

• Duly filled application form should be submitted as prescribed.

• Admission is strictly on merit list prepared on the basis of HSC result.

• Set of Merit Lists for all categories will be displayed on the specified date.

• Eligible applicants will be granted admission according to his/her rank in the relevant merit list and the availability of seats.

• Candidate from other than GHSEB will have to obtain PEC from GLS University.

• GLS University reserves the right to make an exception in the above rules without any notice. Decisions of GLS University will be considered final and binding.
