THE FINANCE

governments or large companies.

A lot of documentaries are low budget programmes therefore the

finance wouldn’t be a problem.

My documentary will also be low budget as we will work around

the money.

TIME

Web definitions: The indefinite continued progress of existence and

events in the past, present, and future regarded as a whole.

Documentaries all take different times to make depending on what it is

Based on and the locations used.

Due to how long our documentary is it shouldn’t take as long to film as

longer documentaries.

PERSONNEL

Web definitions: People employed in an organization or engaged in an

organized undertaking such as military service compare with materiel.

Documentaries don’t usually have a lot of people employed depending

what the documentary is on and what type of documentary it is for

example a docu-drama has more people employed than ordinary

documentary.

Our documentary will only have 3 people working on it but we will have

a lot of people that we will interview.

FACILITIES

Web definitions: Space or equipment necessary for doing something.

Our documentary will be using outside space and will only be using a

video camera, an SLR and editing software.

MATERIALS

CONTRIBUTORS

Web definitions: A person or thing that contributes something, in particular

Our documentary will be using a lot of interviews therefore contributors will be

important to us.

LOCATIONS

Web definition: An actual place or natural setting in which a film or

broadcast is made, as distinct from a simulation in a studio.

Documentaries are set in a lot of different places depending on what its

based on.

Our documentary will be set in a lot of places such as a school canteen,

the smoking lodge and other places young people ‘hang’.
