Wind energy offshore• PNE began developing offshore projects in 1999

• Unlike with onshore, PNE develops offshore wind farms up to the point where they are ready to be constructed

• Once sold, PNE provides services to the project buyers on a consultancy basis

• PNE has sold 8 offshore wind farms so far. The wind farms Gode Wind 1 and 2 as well as Borkum Riffgrund I and II are already in operation and are producing green power for more than 1.4m homes

Partner for wind power planners• PNE has more than 25 years experience in the

development, planning, realisation, financing, operation, marketing and repowering of wind farms

• PNE is the right partner for projects that are under development, no matter at what stage.

• When wind farms reach the end of their service life, we develop solutions for further operation or repowering together with the operator

• We ensure an efficient realization of the wind farm projects in cooperation with all stakeholders

Wind farm management• PNE offers wind farm operators to manage their wind

farms, i.e. the technical and commercial management of the turbines and substations. This is done via our subsidiary energy consult

• The aim of operational management is to ensure the optimum condition and yield of the wind turbines and substations and thus to ensure efficient operation with optimum profitability

• Energy consult manages turbines in Germany and Southern Europe with a total capacity of more than 1,600 MW

Repowering• Repowering describes the replacement of older wind

energy systems with modern and more efficient systems

• The modernization of wind farms can lead to a significant increase in performance and thus profits, with less wind power turbines

• Repowering is already a significant factor in established wind markets – experts estimate the potential in Germany alone at up to 1,000 MW annually
