Now that we are familiar with the concept and the meaning of Black Friday, it is time for some fun! More exactly, we are going to discover some very interesting things about this day and its meaning for the different shoppers.

It is a fact that in every year, almost 135 from all over the United States of America go shopping the day after Thanksgiving and spend billions of dollars on clothes, shoes, electronics, gadgets and some other types of goods.

Some people are so excited on Black Friday, that they do some crazy things. We agreed at the beginning of this article that we are going to have some fun, but, in reality, this story is very sad, because it shows that people can lose their minds during a promotional sales day. For example, in 2008, during that day, a bunch of people who couldn`t wait for the doors of the Long Island Wal-Mart store to open, tried to open the doors themselves, by pushing against them. Of course, the store`s employees tried to keep the doors closed and undestroyed, but the mass of people waiting outside was too big, so they streamed in. One of the store`s workers, Damour was trembled to death by over 2000 people who got in because they were to impatient to buy. Even when the paramedics came to save Damour, they were also trembled by the buyers who seemed to not care about a person who could die because of them. Also, during that they, five shoppers from the same store got into hospital.

This was only one of the many cases that involve victims and fights during the search for the best Black Friday deals, and it happens every single year. Apparently, people are so excited to be able to offer their kids or family amazing gifts for Christmas or to buy for themselves something they always wanted and did not afford to buy before, that they are don`t care if in their shopping race they hurt or even kill someone.

Besides the realistic facts about Black Friday, there are also some myths that people know about that day. For example, some people think that the name of this day came from a financial crisis that dates from 1929. In reality, that event din not even happens in a Friday, but in a Tuesday.

Another fun fact and myth about Black Friday is thinking that it is the biggest shopping day of the year. It might be the most popular, thanks to its history and its incidents, but the Saturday before Christmas is nearly always the biggest shopping day of the year. The only exceptions are in the case that Christmas falls on a weekend day. In that situation, the Thursday or Friday before Christmas becomes the busiest shopping day of the year.

In conclusion, finding the best Black Friday deals 2012 is one of the most important thing to do if you prepare for the Black Friday. But it definitely remains the most controversial and interesting shopping day of year.
