FACT SHEET Lemonis Limoncello PRODUCTION ZONE: Citrus groves on the Villa Spadara estate, between Lacco Ameno and Forio d’Ischia; beautiful lemon plantation comprising 500 lemon trees yielding 25,000 kilos yearly on average; only topquality fruit. LEMON VARIETIES: Limone Pane, Femminiello, Almanacco, Quattro Stagioni, Monachello PRODUCTION METHOD: Infusion of lemon peels from top fruit only in pure alcohol (96.2% by vol.) Infusion time varies depending on the lemon peels and the amount of essential oils produced. Alcohol is lowered by incorporating pure sugar syrup along with distilled water. A second infusion is effected with citrus leaves. Syrup is added and then slowly mixed to ensure the blend is well balanced before filtering and bottling. COLOR: Intense yellow with subtle green hues PALATE: As soft and silky as a sandy Ischia beach... Well balanced, tickles the nose slightly ALCOHOL CONT.: 32% by vol.
