Position Description

The candidate will be handling the following activities: Perform engineering analysis, development, design and control of assigned projects. Supervise and coordinate all maintenance work planning and scheduling activities. Coordinate & resolve facilities issues and plan required work accordingly. Inspect facilities, initiate maintenance work notification, plan and follow up on work accordingly. Respond to Emergency Calls. Setup internal log to schedule and maintain fire water pumps as per the GI. Identify signage and list requirements (add/replacement) per Corporate Identity guidelines. Supervise/ monitor Capital/NDE Projects. Analyze or develop alternatives solution to solve problems with comparative cost analysis and estimate cost. Monitor and control cost. Maintain Fire Protection devices & coordinate with Fire Department for T&I scheduling. F/UP on Master Appropriation project & implement the plan. Review design, process, reports and correspond for projects related to BI-19 & capital projects.

Minimum Requirements

B.S degree in any Engineering discipline (fully accredited) preferably Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering. 5 years of work experience in the same field. Skillful in projects coordination, planning, organizing work and following ups

Duties & Responsibilities

The incumbent will be required to do all of the duties and responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer and in addition, the following: Coordinates maintenance programs with user units to determine relative priorities and on-time completion of work in critical operating facilities with available work force. Assigns maintenance manpower within his assigned area to meet daily changes in operating requirements and priorities. Recommends special work schedules, overtime or contractor participation to meet unusual or emergency situations. Plans assigned T&Is field-wide, analyses and sequences all work requests; estimates required manpower, justifying when necessary requests for additional manpower, overtime or extension of unit downtime. Assures that all details of material and equipment are available at jobsite. On major T&Is, he may direct one or more Maintenance Engineer III in accomplishing this phase of the work. Executes the actual work during a T&I period, coordinates activities of assigned craftsmen and such other personnel as are assigned (night shift coordination, etc.) to assist in the execution of the work. Incumbent may act as the day shift coordinator on T&Is or direct the activities of one or more Maintenance Engineer III's assigned to this phase of the work. Reports to concerned Maintenance Supervisor on quality and quantity of workmanship and adherence to standards by Maintenance Engineer III and craftsmen within his assigned areas and recommends improved work methods. Reports on deviation from approved schedules and assists in the correction of such deviations. Reviews Project Proposals to assure that maintenance aspects are considered in final design. Coordinates maintenance work between Maintenance Divisions when services from various divisions are required. Performs special assignments as directed, utilizing his engineering knowledge and experience. Such assignments may include work direction to one or more Maintenance Engineer III's.
