1 face vocal band NEW NATIONAL ALBUM RELEASE SLATED FOR 2013 FACE has been rocking the local and national music scene since 2001. Using only sounds created by mouth and microphone, they are truly “a must be seen to be believed” vocal rock act. ALL VOCAL ROCK BAND Face is a high octane vocal rock band from Boulder, Colorado, that has been thrilling audiences for over a decade. Using only five voices and a beat boxer, Face performs with an intensity that must been seen to be believed. The band competed on the hit NBC series The Sing Off and also in front of celebrity judges on America’s Got Talent. Both locally and nation-wide, Face has been described as “Nothing short of spectacular,” “Phenomenal,” and “Among the top ten singing groups in the country” by critics and fans. In their home state, Face has performed in famous sold-out venues including The Paramount Theater, The Boulder Theater, Ellie Caulkins Opera House, The Soiled Dove, Nissi's Bistro, Pepsi Center and Sports Authority Field at Mile High. They were the six time, undefeated "Audience Favorite" award winners at the regional and national Harmony Sweepstakes competitions between 2003 and 2007. Other accolades include: Best Local Band by Boulder Weekly (2009), runner-up for favorite Pop/Rock Group in the Contemporary A Cappella Society’s Community Awards (2007), and 3rd place for best local band The Denver Channel’s A-list Awards (2009). In late 2013, Face looks to release the latest volume in their series of award winning albums. Along their journey, Face has had the opportunity to sing for former President H.W. Bush, former President Clinton and has received high praise from audience members such as Henry Kissinger, Jimmy Buffet, David Rockefeller and entertainment mogul Merv Griffin. In addition, Face has shared the stage with Clint Eastwood, country star Pat Green, Jim Belushi, M-pact, jazz saxophonist David Coz and blues vocalist Hazel Miller among other greats. They have released 4 albums to date, including their award-winning 2011 holiday release I Hear the Bells. Repeatedly recognized for their ability to "blow audiences back from the stage," they have touched crowds from San Francisco to Chicago, Dallas to Minneapolis, headlining in Las Vegas and delivering excitement, felt to the core at Detroit's famous Fox Theatre.
