“Sometimes being a friend means mastering the art of timing. There is a time for silence. A time to let go and allow people to hurl themselves into their own destiny. And a time to prepare to pick up the pieces when it’s all over.”Octavia Butler
1Where are you originally from and tell us what age you started modeling? I
was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. I left Michigan and moved to Florida. I didn’t start modeling until I was 17.
2 How did you start modeling? After I went to a casting call in Florida
for a model search, I did a photo shoot and fell in love. I moved to Ny and was introduced to a Celebrity photogra-pher. My very first photo shoot was for a Magazine called Hype Hair. It was published and I continued from there.
3 What was your big break? I was truly blessed. The people around
me introduced me to different people in the industry. Ater my first shoot I was booked 4 more times for the same magazine to shoot. I was then casted for gigs in NY and I did BK Fashion week. Once I did that it opened many doors for me.
“I believe beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I hoping that
more people come to realize that black is truly beautiful.”

4 Do you think black models have it harder than any other ethnic
models? Yes, I believe so. It has always been harder for black models.
If you look at the fashion industry today there are not many black male
or female models.
I believe Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I hoping that more
people come to realize that black is truly beautiful.
5 What would you advise new models to do to get a big break? Start with building your
portfolio. Schedule test shoots with different photographers and Mua. Go to castings. You may get turned down but don’t give up. Stay focused, own it and always believe in yourself. Be unique, be confident, Network. Remember that your look is different. Yes, there are a million beautiful men and women in the world but they aren’t you and they don’t look like you.

Sex is really just a Tweet, “Like”, Reblog and poke away from you. You can create a Twitter ac-
count and have a date within minutes if you want to but is that healthy? Has
internet dating helped relationships and the courting process or are we embarking in an entire new realm of internet sex. I see on Facebook ev-eryday about “complicated
relationship” statuses and people
being caught cheating. Don’t be a
victim to internet - enjoy yourself, have fun and be safe.
So many dating websites these days it’s kind of hard to figure out why you are single. There is a dating site for everytime of man you
desire; smart, wealthy, young, ethnic,
non-ethnic, religious etc. and it’s hard to
believe there are so many single women. But with virtural acces to millions of women ou should always use safety measures when online dating.
Fabulize Mag
1Get a Google phone number. It’s free and it connects to your Gmail so you don’t have to give your personal
number out. What is the purpose of this? Well, your phone nu,mer can be searced on Google ad it can pull up any profile connected to your number.
2Create a different email address for any dating profiles you want to create. You never know who is searching
your information and you would hate for a potential em-ployer to see the “activities” you’re into.

Dating is not HardJust time consuming and a waste of your cell battery
Social and SexPretty much go hand and hand these days
The Perfect Date
1Wear something comfortable. Don’t try to wear something too
sexy but you have to always check yourself to make sure you aren’t “exposed”
2Pick a location where you can get to on your own. You should not
rely on a stranger to come and pick you up. Also, bring your own cash. If you are meeting this guy for the first time, don’t assume he’ll cover the bill. Plus it’s just sexier to be able to hold your own in front of a man anyway.
3Do something fun! skip the usual dinner and movies and go exploring
your city!
No matter what your body type is, you’ll find find the perfect date look for any occasion.
Laila is ALL woman, its clean, sexy, sweet and feminine. The use of watermelon is hardly
detectable by the regular nose, but so brilliantly adds a touch of simple sugar to the seductive blend of Norwegian wildflowers. Laila reminds me of a fine wine, elegant and classy. While beautiful on its own, Laila is even more so when worn by the right person.
Laila is a spectacular buy, starting at only $53 for a 1.7oz bottle.
-Fragrance Type: floral fruity
-Available at: Nordstrom’s, Epcot Center Disney World, Laila.com
-Price Point: $
-Longevity: 8+ hours

-Type/Age: Business Professional +
Tip! Tip!
Tip!
Don’t forget to do the hair. Add fragrance to your pressure points
1Adding fragrance to your hair will make your
date smile as they hug you.2 Overspray... Just a little.
Not every fragrance is going to last 8 hours, and that’s ok. If you’re wearing a 4 hour transparent scent but want it to stick around for a few extra hours then try a double application.
3 Ears can be sexy! Apply a dab of fragrance just
behind each ear when go-ing out on a romantic date or even a night out on the prowl. Mix the right amount of love potion with the right conversation, and those whispers may just become nibbles.

THE SCENT OF LOVELeaving a scent is a great first impression
Ladies First...Find your love potion here.
Dior Hypnotic Poison: notes - apricot, plum, jasmine, rosewood, sandalwood, almond, vanilla
Hypnotic Poison is sure to put a spell on you this holiday season... This fragrance greets you with the most ed-ible almond and vanilla opening, but skips the loud and heady top notes that so many fruit filled designer fra-grances use. Hypnotic Poison uses raw and exotic fruit notes of plum, apricot, coconut and almond. But blend-ed so well with the sandalwood and vanilla, you never feel like you’re wearing a Hawaiian vacation. Rather the opposite, Hypnotic Poison quickly moves into a middle note stage creating a cozy aura around the wearer. As the coconut, jasmine and almond cocktail develops, it eventually becomes a part of your naturally fragrant skin. It’s not hard to see why this Dior classic remains a top seller, and continues to have all the boys mouths watering year after year. There’s nothing wrong with smelling delicious. Prices are typical department store variations, look for a gift set or extra goodie during the holiday making the extra bang worth the buck.
-Fragrance Type: Oriental
-Available at: Spear, most department stores
-Price Point: $$
-Longevity: 8+ hours
-Season: Fall, Winter
-Type/Age: College +
D’Orsay Le Dandy: notes - whiskey, rum, pineapple, ginger, nutmeg, clove, sandalwood, tonka bean, tobacco
Le Dandy is extremely under the radar gem in the men’s fragrance market. It is the right exotic blend of fruit, spices and tobacco makes everyone feel, well... just Dandy. But please, don’t be scared of all this fruit and spice talk. The use of tobacco and woods in the base-notes are what marks this territory a mans scent. Luckily, I know where it’s hiding and priced at a modest $120 for a 100ml bottle. Not in NY... its ok, you can order it online. And I’ll even reveal a hidden discount code for all you world wide web coupon code pirates, use code FRUNKINATOR at www.MiN.com for 15% off your purchase of Le Dandy or any others full bottle purchases.
-Fragrance Type: Woody/Spicy
-Available at: MiN New York Apothecary, MiN.com
-Price Point: $$
-Longevity: 7+ hours
-Season: All, signature scent worthy
