Dr. Fadi Abu Shahin believes the best outcome for women
with cancer is achieved through an educated partnership
between the treating physician and the patient. It is essential
to provide women with potential or diagnosed cancer a clear
knowledge of their disease and all aspects of the available
treatment options. Dr. Abu Shahin is trained in minimally
invasive surgery and state-of-the-art robotic surgery for the treatment of
gynecologic malignancies. He is also a pioneer in adopting single incision
(scarless) laparoscopic surgery in Southwest Florida. His special interest and
experience in basic and clinical research allows him to offer his patients access
to current clinical trials emphasizing the most advanced treatment options
and technologies. His background in palliative care allows a broader approach
in fighting cancer while maintaining good quality of life and symptom control.
