    will not be admissible.

Footage from a stock collection must be paid for by yourself and must have a commercial usage license

which must be shown to Judging panel upon request. Please check Licenses and end-user agreements carefully as music rights are not usually

Video Format for Submission:We accept avi, mpg, mov, wmv, mp4 and m4v extensions. We recommend shooting in HD

because lots of winners get their films shown on big screens- so you want it to look good.Donot submit any black borders and we prefer 16:9 aspect ratio but will accept other

ratios.Don't use a resolutionbelow 640x480.Neither height nor width can be odd numerically (e.g. dimensions of 1023 x 768 should not be

used because 1023 is an odd number).

The frame rate (fps) is unimportant, but, if you can, shoots at 30fps or higher. The video should

play on QuickTime and/or Real player.

Note: every submission is expected to detail on their cast and crew at the time ofsubmission, with proof.

What happens after Submission?Once you have submitted your video it will go through an encoding platform which creates

standard judging formats. You will be notified once your video has completed this process

informing you if there was any problem or if the encoding was.One of the Eye-dea administrators will review the video and you may be contacted aboutany problems or questions. If your video is not suitable then it may be rejected. You may also be

asked to re-edit your video and/or re-submit the video.

If your video is accepted the Eye-dea administrator will approve the video. At this point thefull judging panel will be viewing and reviewing your video but judging will not take place until

    the submission deadline has passed.

How does judging work? The judges will review all approved videos and will use their own pre-arranged system to rate

the videos according to how well they met their theme, their originality and how well theycommunicated. There may also be additional criteria like cinematography, editing, sound mixing

etc. Judging will be fair and all approved videos will be considered.

We accept only those films created as part of an educational course.

Save your big, ultra-high quality video in touch. If you are chosen as a finalist we will be asking you for

    it!

If you are rendering your video with video editing software (e.g. Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere,

Sony Vegas, Avid, etc) then we recommend you submitting an uncompressed file with editing

markers.Prizes will be awarded for those films which are exemplary in their execution.
