Transcript of EYE - A Creative's Portfolio
Let’s start. My name is Gaia, I am an Art Director, and I wish I was colorblind.
Life would have less categories to put people and things into, and it’d have more imagination and creativity. It would be an advantage, not a deficiency.
To me, it would be another eye.

I believe that things are not only seen through just two eyes.
One just has to learn how to open the others.

I love smart technology, especially if combined with food;
like, I’d change my phone only if they create one that can
make coffee too. And I always wanted to be a farmer,
but this is another story...

What is the meaning of the letter “Y”? To me, it is
first and foremost a question. This was my answer.
Tutor: Sergey Sidorov
“O”
Pop-up Letter

The letter “O” represented circles, mostly loops. Dialogues
that repeat themselves, situations that recurr in a never-
ending yet always the same manner.

Life is a trash-bag
When I was little, one of my favorite activities was taking out anything contained in the garbage
bin; there are tons of picture of me sitting on the floor, surrounded by waste, blissfully smiling
and happy. Why did I love it? It was a daily surprise, you would never know what you could
have found inside time to time, in few words, anything about it was interesting as hell!!!
When you find something that is always providing with new ideas and inspirations, always
rising up expectations yet satisfying them, would you keep living it? Would you put your own
hands into the “dirt” just to keep on fulfilling yourself? Would you pursue these risks just for
the possibility of being blow away by new unexpected combinations?
That is how started to me, the passion for music, reading, traveling and doing
researches, passion for cooking and tastes, for perfumes of foods and spices,
passion in knowing people and living any kind of possible experience, not for
my own “sake of knowledge” rather for the opportunity to share what learnt and have more
tools to create something else afterwards.
Despite all of that, I choose a Scientific High School with high profile of Maths, Physics and
Computer Science, yet fought to integrate that rational path with several projects of arts and
craft, movie production, and volunteering.
When eligible, any kind of job, shopping assistant, paramedical, escort, insurance promoter...,
I took one year off after graduation in order to save money and move out from my borderline
mother’s house, purpose I accomplished in 2 weeks during Physiotherapy final examination.
The next 2 years had been a sequence of ups and downs -very high ups and very low downs-,
figuring out who I really was and what I really wanted. As conclusion, the Miami Ad School
Hamburg, truly the most intense and honest experience in a long time.
Since then, I have been in Beijing, Chicago and Dubai; changed 11 flats, and one of these got
sold out without warnings during the first week of tenancy, in China; spent 24 hours driving
to a lost destination in the middle of Oman just to win a bet; experienced bits of Tantra and
OBEs; met the man who wanted to be my father but not the biological one; and found out that
whatever happens, it always happens for a reason, and that shit could be worse.
People lose sight at times. They run, blind. Why not stay still, witnessing here and now?

These 7 years were a sequence of ups and downs including eating disorders, cutting, slim pills
and sexual addictions, robberies, etc..., both trying to destroy myelf in any possible way and
figure out who I really was and what I really wanted. As conclusion, the Miami Ad School

But this was just the beginning.
