Extra, Extra Read All About It!
Spelling News
Our district has adopted a new spelling program that will meet each student’s individual needs.
Starting this week, students will have their own personal spelling list different from their classmates.
Each day they are to sort the words and identify the spelling patterns.
All homework should be completed in their blue spiral word study notebook.
Please don’t allow students to skip around in the notebook. They need to keep all their work together for that week.
At the end of the week
students will take a spelling test in which they have to identify the spelling patterns, spell each word correctly and place it in the correct column.
Some words will be given that were not part of their original spelling list. This will allow me to see if the student understood
Notes from Ms. Barnhardt
