POSITION : SPECIALISED SECURITY OFFICER – REACTION OFFICERCLOSING DATE : 30 JUNE 2017

An external vacancy for a specialized security officer- reaction officer in the Mining Division at Assmang Manganese Mine Black Rock

The suitable candidate's main responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:Ÿ Armed Response to alarm signals in designated area of duty;Ÿ Response to alarms; Ÿ Rendering a comprehensive pro-active security service;Ÿ Ensure adherence to company policy and procedures;Ÿ Must adhere to disciplinary procedures;

Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills:Ÿ PSIRA certification- Grade B + Armed ResponseŸ Grade 12 or equivalent qualification Ÿ Code 08 driver's license Ÿ Must be willing to undergo and pass a Dover test conducted at the mineŸ Experience in a similar position and Armed Response advantageous;Ÿ Excellent written & verbal communication skills;Ÿ Bilingual (English and any other South African language);Ÿ Sound communication skill (verbal and written);Ÿ Strong report writing Ÿ Good radio communication skills;Ÿ The ability to report clearly and follow instruction;Ÿ Strong observational skills;Ÿ The ability to communicate and present at all levels and work under pressure;Ÿ Clean disciplinary , criminal and credit record;Ÿ Must be medical fit Ÿ Must willing to undergo polygraph test
