Turner Bros. supply and install a comprehensive range of external sun shading products and control systems for residential and commercial applications specifically designed for Australian climatic conditions.

We endeavour to match the best product and control system for the application and within the client’s price range. The specific products in this brochure are recommended by Turner Bros. for their design, durability and effectiveness. The descriptions are general and updates will occur without notice. Open cassette A side mounted fully retractable awning system with an un-enclosed outer cassette. Ideal for smaller applications such as balconies and verandahs.

Semi cassette A side mounted fully retractable awning system with a semi-enclosed extruded aluminium outer cassette that holds the blind without the folded arms. It provides protection for the blind against dirt and corrosion.

Full cassette A face or top fixed fully retractable awning system with an enclosed extruded aluminium outer cassette. Once retracted the blind and folded arms are protected from dirt impregnation and corrosion.

Awning fabric range Acrylic fabric - resist fading and repel dirt. Blocks UV, reduces solar heat gain and filters natural light. High tenacity thread weave fabric - suitable for cassette style awnings with fabrics under tension. Ensures smooth operation of fabric. Treated fabric - high resistance to impact of Australian climate conditions that causes tearing and fading. Mesh fabric - allows air circulation while providing shading. Resistant to sagging fraying and tearing.

PVC - clear, maintains views. Clear and coloured can be printed for advertising or signage requirements.

Weather station Fixed to top of building, it is a hardwired sensor that detects temperature, grades velocity and direction of wind and brightness level of the sun to activate solar shading system/s according to reading.
