![Page 15: Extension Fundraising Session for volunteers and Staff](https://reader036.fdocuments.us/reader036/viewer/2022062720/5681358b550346895d9cf33a/html5/thumbnails/15.jpg)
4-H Robotics• Program needs– Dependent on goals– Junk Drawer Curriculum is best combined with
Platform and Virtual Curriculum– Platform and Virtual Curriculum need Computers
and platform kits (We recommend Lego)
![Page 16: Extension Fundraising Session for volunteers and Staff](https://reader036.fdocuments.us/reader036/viewer/2022062720/5681358b550346895d9cf33a/html5/thumbnails/16.jpg)
Computers and Software• Penn State Policy is evolving• Computers at this time are owned by the 4-H
program and must be monitored and managed by 4-H Educator in conjunction with 4-H volunteer
• Software licensing owned by 4-H program and use must be monitored/managed in accordance with legal software requirements
![Page 17: Extension Fundraising Session for volunteers and Staff](https://reader036.fdocuments.us/reader036/viewer/2022062720/5681358b550346895d9cf33a/html5/thumbnails/17.jpg)
Competitions• Nice addition, but not required• Many options available, FIRST program most
closely matches the chosen curriculum• Many have contracts, must be vetted through
PSU policy procedures• Before committing, team must have eyes
wide open on costs and expectations• Fundraising must be monitored closely by
educator and leader (policy compliant)
