Structure of the screen

The start screen consists of six areas:The symbol-bar

The EXSL-barsThe EXSL-bar contains shortcuts with the often used functions, whose meanings are explained in the next chapter. Three different bars are at the users disposal. They can be activated with the buttons , or . During the activation, the mouse cursor changes from an arrow to a hand.1. 3. The EXSL-bar :The Status line gives information about the actual actions of the program.The simulation window, the camera control, the NC editor and the machine status window can be ordered on the Desktop.

The camera controlAll actions, which are carried out with the camera always refer to the active simulation window (it has got a blue frame). Selected or activated buttons in the camera window and in the menu of the camera are marked. If you touch a button with the mouse cursor, its function will be explained in the status lineYou can maximize the simulation window with the key and you can reset it by pressing the button again.

Camera movementsThe camera position and the view can be changed. Please note, that when the camera moves, the position and the view change. For these movements of the camera the 20 icons can be used (see picture 3-2).Apart from the icon the speed of the camera movement can be set by using the arrow keys and in a range from 0,1 to 100% with the left mouse key.
