80s Architecture StyleDeconstruction is an architectural movement that began in the 80s Its bases are abandoning the straight line and the plane and start working deformations , stretching, smooth surfaces, breaks , bends , hyperbole , parables, deny and coating structure.

Deconstructivist architecture is manifested not only in the aesthetics of the exterior, but it alters , distorts and incorporated into the internal structure. The basic features of this movement consist of the use of apparently complex geometries , which result but , usually , the deformation or displacement of base areas that make up the geometry. 1988 MoMA exhibitionMark WigleyandPhillip Johnsoncurated the 1988Museum of Modern ArtexhibitionDeconstructivist architecture, which crystallized the movement, and brought fame and notoriety to its key practitioners. The architects presented at the exhibition werePeter Eisenman 1,Frank Gehry 2,Zaha Hadid 3,Coop Himmelblau 4,Rem Koolhaas 5,Daniel Libeskind 6, and Bernard Tschumi 7. Mark Wigley wrote the accompanying essay and tried to show a common thread among the various architects whose work was usually more noted for their differences.
