Exploring a
Career in Care
This course is FREE if you:
Left school before age 16 and have not completed your education to Leaving Certificate
standard, or you were not successful in your Leaving Certificate
You can also apply if you completed the Leaving Certificate Applied
There are a small number of places available for people in receipt of a social welfare
payment or a medical card or their dependents
Limited Childcare Support places available

FREE Course for Early School Leavers
This project is co-funded by the Irish Government and the European Union under the European Social Fund
This is an ideal course if you are planning to work in the healthcare or childcare area and just want to find out which is the right area for you.
Develop good reading, writing and interpersonal communication skills for use in social, personal and work life.
The course will also help you to prepare for study at a higher level in the area you are interested in.
Get a FETAC level 3 and level 4 component certificate
