Samaritan’s Purse Canada is the Canadian arm of a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization that has been providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world since 1970. Operation Christmas Child is an organization through Samaritan’s Purse that is working to collect shoeboxes to give to children around the world in need of hope. Shoeboxes are available in the foyer and will be collected at BCCC on November 14th. Visit www.samaritansppurse.ca/occ for more information.

There will be a Soup and Bun Lunch after church on Sunday, November 14th by donation to raise funds for various church projects. Please contact the office if you would like to help in this endeavour.

Margaret Krausher She is suffering very badly with shingles and is feeling lonely. Please pray for God to give her comfort and for those around her to be near her during this time.

Tamil refugees who have arrived recently on a boat from Sri Lanka. Pray for their needs to be met and that they would experience and respond to the saving love of Jesus. Pray also for Journey Home, a Metro Vancouver Christian ministry that is currently aiding these refugees.

Haiti as they are facing a cholera epidemic which has already taken the lives of 135 people. Prayer is needed for the families who have lost loved ones, the medical professionals, and for a quick solution to the immediate sanitation needs.

Family of Sandy Glum a friend of Jan Frew who passed away a short while ago. Pray for peace and comfort during this difficult time.
