BOSCH Launching Event

World-renowned German brand BOSCH has stepped foot in Bangladesh market. EDISON Group of Bangladesh have been made the sole distributor of BOSCH home appliances in the country. The launching event took place at The Westin on 25th February, in presence of BSH Home Appliances FZE CEO Tomas Alonso along with the Chairman of EDISON Group -Md. Aminur Rashid and Jafrul Khan - Business Director of EDISON Electronics. German companies have always considered Bangladesh as a preferred destination for trade and business, since Bangladesh offers an immense opportunity for bilateral trade between the two countries. These views were shared by BSH Home Appliances CEO Tomas Alonso at the grand launching event.

EDISON Project Business has completed supply and installation of 270 ton Midea Brand VRF AC in the newly opened Unimart Supershop at Dhanmondi, Dhaka on February 2019 which is a 4 storied modern supershop of United Group. It is well known for

carrying all sorts of things ranging from groceries to electronics and even clothing and shoes. The Dhanmondi branch is said to be one of the most spacious markets in a 4-storied building with each spacious floor featuring a different shopping sector.

Celebration of Traditions in EDISON Group

“Falgun” the eleventh month in the Bengali calendar and the first month of the six season. The first Falgun is known as a Pohela Falgun that falls on 13th February. In this year we started the day

wearing colorful clothes to celebrate Pitha Utshob. We arranged Pitha Utshob with different kind of Pithas like- Vapa Pitha, Dudh Chitoi Pitha, Patishaptha Pitha, Puli Pitha and Fuchka.

On the other hand, Pohela Baishakh is the oldest tradition of our culture and the festival of Bengali New Year which falls on 14th April. It is a day of cheerful celebrations with great pride and enthusiasm. Every year, we celebrate Pohela Baishakh in a grand manner in our company. This year we started the day wearing colorful clothes with traditional breakfast like Panta Bhaat (rice soaked in water), Fried

Hilsha Fish, Green chili, Onion and different kinds of smashed vegetable. In the evening we arranged a grand cultural program including Folk Music and a wonderful Drama presented by the young faces of the company. Presence of honorable our Chairman and honorable Managing Director made both events more cheerful and enjoyable.
