EuropeThe “Europe” series of shower door hinges was developed by Bohle taking both functionality and aesthetics into account. The series has a timeless design which fits perfectly in modern bathrooms. The zero position is individually adjustable by +/- 5° and can easily be adjusted and re-set at any time. The “Europe” series is suitable for 8 or 10 mm glass and door weights up to 40 kg with a maximum door width of 1000 mm (with 8 mm glass).

01 | ClampsOn the following pages you can find clamps for toughened glass and laminated glass up to a total thickness of 21.52 mm.The clamps are manufactured either of diecast zinc or stainless steel and are supplied with fixing screws (VA) and cover caps which match thefinish of the clamps. If desired, securing pins are available as extras for almost all of the clamps.

Technical Information for Toughened GlassThe test results are derived from the TÜV-Rheinland (Technical Inspection Authority, Rhineland). All the clamps are manufactured according to strict DIN regulations and their basic material is subject to continual inspection!

Vertical forceDefinition:N = 1 Newton (unit of force)Fzul. = allowable forceThe indicated values were obtained with 4 clamps at +50°C andmounted to steel. The various glass thicknesses fit in the clamps withthe aid of elastomer inserts of differing thicknesses.

The Bohle B3 sliding door hardware by Hawa opens up new dimensions in the field of transparent room design for architects and planners. Mirror Fixation Kits and Accessories

SafecliX® – SafemaX® – SafefiX®

have been developed for vertical mounting of mirrors per DIN EN 1036. Our sets are supplied with all necessary fixing materials in neutralpackaging. After mounting they are hidden from sight behind the mirror and still allow height and lateral adjustments. The mirror can also bedismounted at any time. All metal mounting plates in our mirror fixation kits are coated with the specially developed Xtramount® mirror adhesive tape and are therefore suitable for humid rooms as well as outdoor applications, as long as they are not directly subjected to rain andthey stay within the allowable temperature range for Xtramount®. Indicated mirror sizes in m² apply to a mirror glass thickness of 6 mm.

Indicated load capacities of the metal plates apply per plate, when the mirror glass has a max. thickness of 6 mm and when used with our mirrorfixation supplies. The load capacity of the plates used with magnets is calculated on the basis of at least 4 plates per m² of mirror, whereby theplates used at the top of the mirror must be ridged (ridge must face upwards). The back side of the mirror must be clean, dry and grease-free, roomtemperature should be approx. 18° C and the temperature of metal plate and mirror should be roughly the same. After removing the protective filmfrom the self-adhesive plates, press the plates firmly, evenly and directly onto the back side of the mirror by applying approx. 200 N (20 kg) pressurefor approx. 5 seconds. The distance to the top edge and side edges of the mirror should be 10 cm. (NEW: The mirror can already be mounted after a30 minute wait.) If splinter protection film, etc. is used, it must be applied around the attached plates.

Mirror Adhesive Tapes and Mirror Adhesive

XtraCrylHighly transparent, polyacrylate-based adhesive tape with adhesive onboth sides. lt has excellent adhesiveness immediately after application,quickly offering a high degree of security. XtraCryl has excellent resistanceto ageing, weathering, temperature and solvents and is ideal for bondingrough materials as well as for permanently bonding glass, metal, mirrorsper DIN EN 1036 and many plastics. Stresses in the adhesive bond arereduced and the strength of the bond increases greatly over time. Weespecially recommend XtraCryl for mounting laminated glass mirrors andwhen bonding cast resin panes.

Xtramount® - Mirror Adhesive TapeMore security for your mirrors is hardly possible. Xtramount® is a double-sided mirror-mounting tape made of closed-cell polyethylene foam (density100 kg/m³), coated on both sides with a solvent-based, pure acrylateadhesive and protected on one side by brown release paper. Xtramount®

was specially developed for vertical mounting of mirrors per DIN EN 1036,but can also be used for many other materials such as metal plates, someplastics, glass or ceramic.

Xtragrip® - Mirror AdhesiveSolvent-free, neutral, silicone-based single-component adhesive (oxime-free). XtraprimeImproves the adhesive capacity of Xtragrip® mirror adhesive on poroussurfaces (also suitable for use with other silicone adhesives or MSpolymers). Xtraprime is also recommended to prime surfaces subject tohumidity. Xtraprime is thin, transparent and moisture resistant.

Instructions for use:Processing temperature +5°C to +25°C. The subsurface must be clean, dryand free of dust and grease. Generously apply Xtraprime undiluted with abrush. Allow Xtraprime to dry thoroughly (approx. 60 min. at +20°C / 65%relative humidity) before applying adhesive. To ensure that the subsurfaceis completely covered, a second coating of Xtraprime can be applied. AfterXtraprime has been applied, protect the surface against moisture and dirt.Covers approx. 5 m²/litre, depending on condition of the subsurface.

The back side of the mirror and the concealed mirror rails must be clean, dry and grease-free. The Xtramount® must be applied to the concealedmirror rails without trapping air bubbles and then pressed on firmly. Next, the protective film of the Xtramount® is removed and the concealedmirror rail must be directly pressed onto the back side of the mirror firmly (approx. 200 N / 20 kg) and evenly, again taking care to avoid bubbles.The maximum load bearing capacity of Xtramount® is achieved 10 hours after having been taped to the mirror. VentilatorsAxial ventilators to be installed in single pane or insulated glazing units from 3 - 25 mm as well as for walls 25-300 mm thick (additional wallmounting kit required). Ventilators are available in the following models: manually operated · electrically controlled. The housings are made ofshock-resistant, white plastic. Flat outer part does not interfere with outdoor shutters. High efficiency fan with low noise level. Touch protectioninside and outside as per EN 60 335-1 and EN 60 335-2-80.
