OURSTORY

OUR STORY1992 – Our Company was set up by Adrian Bodea. Noticing the Romanian industry reengineering needs, Adrian Bodea founded Adrem Invest, relying on his extensive experience as physician and scientific researcher, as well as on his business and management skills.

– Corneliu Bodea joins Adrem Invest. Corneliu Bodea joins his brother, adding his technical skills and subsequently obtaining an MBA, attested by one of the most prestigious universities in the UK.

– Adrem Invest overcomes the crisis brought about by the negative economic changes and the strong devaluation of the Roma-nian national currency (RON).

– The first liquid steel vacuum plant in the world is developed, using mechanical pumps, at the Special Steels Mill in Târgoviște, VOD 12 tons, by the Process Engineering Division. After the success of this project, Adrian Bodea patents the technology based on the use of mechanical pumps in the liquid oil degasification. The patented solution offered by Adrem Invest generates energy savings of up to 20 times, as compared to the classical steam ejectors solution.

– Adrem Invest enters the automation market offering SCADA solutions dedicated to utilities networks. The SCADA & Automation Division is thus set up, turning Adrem Invest into one of the most important suppliers of SCADA and process automation systems. The solutions offered start with the feasibility study phase, go through the maintenance stage for the implemented systems, in order to integrate the newest technologies and improve the offered systems' performances.

– This year, the Process Engineering Division managed to develop the first large-scale liquid steel vacuum plant, with a capacity of 100 tons at Moldova Steel Works. Here, in Rîbnița, Republic of Moldova, the technique patented by the Adrem Invest's founder was used.

– Adrem Invest enters the energy services market. After establishing a partnership with one of the most important energy companies in Romania, from whom it takes over the electricity meter readings, the Integrated Services Division was also set up. Later on, the division also took over other services, such as management of metering assemblies, maintenance of electricity distribution lines and overhead transformer stations, as well as gas meter reading services.

– Adrem Invest strengthens its position on the SCADA systems' market. Adrem Invest undertakes large scale projects, through the implementation of state-of-the-art technologies in the field of process automation and SCADA, IT, telecommunication and software, for companies operating in strategic sectors at national level, such as: gas transportation, central heating, electricity distribution, public railway infrastructure management and maintenance.

– The largest liquid steel degasification plant in the world, RH 250t, in the field of secondary steelworks, is commissioned.

– The Green Energy Division is set up, for a new beginning in the direction of renewable energy. The Green Energy Division undertakes large-scale solar and biomass cogeneration projects, as well as the Suceava power plant building project. The main aim of the division is to relevantly contribute to the development of this sector in Romania.

– The global development of Adrem Invest continues with the acquisition of a Swiss company - MTAG, and its USA subsidiary - MTUS.
