Following your arrival to Lima Jorge Chavaz Airport,

the team greets you and transfers you to your hotel.

DAY 1

A city tour to take you through Lima during its 3

historical periods. Going through a panoramic view of

La Huanca Pucllana, you’ll go through impressive

Historical Downtown of Lima and then see an

unforgettable view of the Pacific Ocean from the

district of Miraflores. During the tour you’ll also visit

BCR Museum and the catacombs.

DAY 2

Arrival

Lima City Tour


Boat excursion to the Ballestas Island, in the Paracas

National Reserve where one can observe sea lions,

pelicans, penguins and marine birds. On the way back,

one can also see the "Candelabro", a giant figure

etched in the sand on the side hill in the style of

Nazca Lines.

DAY 3Ballestas Island Excursion


DAY 3Sand Buggy & Sandboarding

In the afternoon, adventure the sand dunes found

between Paracas and Ica, experience a thrilling ride in

a sand buggy. Once you reach the destination, you

will have the opportunity to sandboard in the Peruvian

sand dunes.


DAY 4Nazca Lines Overfly

Visit the second most famous archeological site in

Peru. The mysterious geoglyphs at the UNESCO world

Heritage Site range from geometric shapes and swirls

to a hummingbird and monkey. View these Nazca

drawings from the sky to truly view these lines in their

magnificence.


DAY 5Arequipa City Tour

Visit the lovely city of Arequipa through a guided tour,

including the beautiful quaint Santa Catalina

monastery, the Main Square which is considered as

one of the most beautiful in Peru and the Cathedral

which is a prime example of XIX century Peruvian

architecture. You will also have the opportunity to visit

La Compania Church and ancient Jesuit Temple.


DAY 6Colca Canyon and Chivay

Early morning to start trip to Colca Canyon, visiting on

the way Pampas Cañahuas, the Mirador of the Andes,

the crater of Chucura, the Mirador of Chivay; where

pre-inca andens may be appreciated. You will also be

given some free time to visit the thermal and medical

baths just outside the city. You will spend the evening

and night in Chivay.


DAY 7Cruz Del Condor

Visit the Condor’s Cross which is the natural

observation point from where the magnitude of the

Colca Canyon and the spectacular flight of the

Majestic condor is appreciated. Visit also the Mirador

of Chinina, which homes the famous Hanging Tombs

and the Hanging Bridge of Sifón that joins the town of

Yanque with Coporaque. At the town of Yanque, visit

its beautiful church and its characteristic stone streets

among other attractions.


DAY 8Lake Titicaca – Uros & Taquile

Floating high in the Andes Mountains and forming a

natural border between Peru and Bolivia, Lake Titicaca

is one of the most remarkable sights in all of South

America.

You will have an unforgettable motorboat excursion

on the waters of Lake Titicaca to the unique "Floating

Islands" of the Uros. We continue our motorboat trip

to Taquile island and after lunch in a local Taquile inn,

you will walk through the various hills and

archaeological sites of this 6 km long island.


DAY 9Travel from Puno to Cusco

Travel along the High Plateau of the Collao, stopping

at the Town of Ayaviri, to visit the impressive Temple

of Kalasasaya, remnants of the ancient Pucara Culture.

On the way, stop in Raqchi, where you’ll see a

spectacular Inca Sanctuary. Further on, you’ll pass

through the La Raya Ranch where one can see herds

of vicuñas and llamas. During the trip, you’ll pass by

the lovely Wacarpay Lake, offering spectacular views

of the mountains reflected in its calm waters. After,

you’ll proceed to the beautiful Town of Andahuaylillas,

and visit the Church of San Pedro.


DAY 10Cusco City Tour & Ruins

A guided city tour of Cusco visiting the Main Square,

the Cathedral and the Temple of the Sun or

Korikancha. You’ll be driven out of the city to visit the

Inca sites of Kenko, Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and

the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuaman strategically

built overlooking Cusco.


DAY 11Rainbow Mountain

Prepare for one of the most spectacular views you will

ever see by horse riding and trekking to see the

beautiful Rainbow Mountain. Also called Montaña de

Siete Colores or Montaña de Colores is a mountain in

Peru with an altitude of 5,200 meters above sea level.

It is located in the Andes of Peru, in the Cusco Region.

These beautiful vivid colours are due to volcanism as

well as rare and varied mineralogy in the Andes

Mountains.

Horse riding is also included as part of this experience

going up towards Rainbow Mountain.


DAY 12Sacred Valley of the Incas

An Excursion to the “Sacred Valley of the Incas”, which

is a succession of picturesque towns, agricultural

terraces and archaeological sites. Visiting Pisac’s

typical Indian market and in the afternoon, go through

Calca and Urubamba towns to arrive to the Inca

Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo. On the way

back, you’ll visit the picturesque Andean village or

Chinchero which holds the remains of the royal

hacienda of Tupac Inca Yupanqui lies. You will also

visit the well preserved Inca Wall at the Main Square

and visit the beautiful colonial temple built upon Inca

foundations.


DAY 13Machu Picchu

Early start to the day to the Cusco train station for a 3

hour train ride to the famous Inca Citadel of Machu

Picchu, also known as the “Lost City of the Incas”.

After arriving at Aguas Calientes, a bus ride awaits

which will take you up the 6KM of winding road

towards the incredible Machu Picchu. Upon arriving,

you’ll be given a guided tour of the Citadel, visiting

the Main Plaza, Circular Tower, Sacred Sun Dial, Royal

Quarters, Temple of the Three Windows and various

burial grounds.

Hiking Level is low. Should you wish to increase the

amount of trekking, we can customize this package.


DAY 14Aguas Calientes

Free day which gives you the excellent opportunity to

wake up early and enjoy with a beautiful sunrise as

well as stroll by the town of Aguas Calientes and visit

its thermal waters.

You may also walk down to the waterfall by visiting

Los Jardins De Mandor with its beautiful botanical

gardens. You may also see the Mariposario (Butterfly

research facility) along the route.

Alternatively for the most adventurous this may be

replaced by a trek to Huayna Pichu (extra; weather

permitting).


DAY 15Rafting the Urubamba River

Driving to the shores of the Upper Urubamba River,

our professional rafting guides will give you a safety

talk and provide you with all the proper equipment for

Rafting.

You will be rafting for approximately two and a half

hours, running class II and III, introductory type rapids.

After you arrive to the base campground, a sauna will

be awaiting you.


DAY 16International Flight

Depending on your flight itinerary, you will fly from

Cusco to Lima where you will then be taking your

international flight back home.
