YOUR SAFETY IS OUR TOPPRIORITY
GENERAL SAFETY GUIDELINES CATERING SERVICES
As a world class hospitality service provider, DWTC has a commitment
to create a safe and delightful customer journey throughout an event
whilst adhering to the highest Health & Safety standards.
With a GRADE A, HACCP and ISO 22000 certified kitchen, our focus is
on periodic monitoring, sanitising and disinfection during the event
setup to execution phases, with special attention to the following :
• Food temperature control and audits.
• Mandatory staff training on hygiene measures and food handling.
• Must-have Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - gloves, face
masks and face shields.
• Frequent handwashing – washing breaks and sanitisers are
provided for this.
• Sanitisation of all counter tops, surfaces and kitchen equipment
before use.
• Proper waste disposal and cleaning of catering areas.
• Use of sanitised vehicles for food transportation, when needed.
SANITISED CATERING AREASExhibitions stand catering areas and counters are
fumigated and sanitised prior to opening of each
event day. Please contact the Event Plus team to
place your nightly cleaning and sanitisation
orders.
NO SELF-SERVICESelf service counters are not permitted at this time
and all food and beverages are being served by
DWTC service staff. Please contact the Event Plus
team to place your staffing orders.
All necessary social distancing and safety measures
pertaining to this need to be followed while
designing your stand and catering area (social
distancing stickers, barriers, sanitisers etc.).
ACRYLIC PARTITIONS
RECOMMENDEDIt is recommend to have acrylic partitions
at all catering counters for safety. Please
coordinate with your stand contractor to
arrange partitions.
SANITISED EQUIPMENTAll catering equipment is sanitised and sealed
prior to delivery to the catering area or
stand. All equipment (e.g. Alto Shaams and
trolleys) used for stand catering are sanitised
/decontaminated prior to food delivery and
before being put back into operation.
CATERING SERVICESSAFETY MEASURES & RECOMMENDATIONS
INDIVIDUAL BOTTLES ONLYWater dispensers are not permitted in
the stand for safety reasons. Only
bottled water options are available and
can be ordered through Event Plus.
JUICE BOTTLESOnly bottled juices are permitted to be
served to the stands at this time. All
beverages are chilled and served fresh to
our guests in disposable tumblers.
Glassware can also be made available
upon request.
COFFEE SERVICECoffee machines are cleaned on a daily
basis in keeping with approved Dubai
Municipality guidelines. Beverages are
served in sterilized coffee cups or in
disposable cups only.
Self service is not permitted during coffee
service. Please contact Event Plus team to
place your staffing orders.
INDIVIDUAL SERVESPass-around menus and sharing platters
are not recommended at this time. All
food items need to be served in individual
plates.
It is recommended to install hand
sanitisers next to each food counter for
enhanced safety.

COVERED FOOD CONTAINERSAll food items are stored in a
temperature controlled environment
and delivered in sealed sustainable
boxes or with covers to ensure the
highest safety standards.
ASSISTED BUFFETS ONLYBehind every buffet counter, a 3m gap or
ample space needs to be provided by the
contractor during design for our staff to
serve food from behind the counter. In
addition, a pantry needs to be provided
to store the equipment hygienically and
with speed.
SAFETY ASSURED SERVICEAll our team members undergo a
mandatory and rigorous safety training
before interacting with colleagues and
customers.
Regular checks are conducted by
service managers to monitor strict
adherence to safety standards.
