Hello Bob,

we are member of the Cellular Communication workgroup for Community Technology and

Telecommunication Commission. We are not tied to any Austin purchasing or franchising decisions in any form

or fashion. We have absolute no connection or power to influence any city decision. I understand that Verizon

has just done a large scale update of cellular system in Virginia. We would like to learn some of the

parameters used by Commonwealth of Virginia to measure their existing cellular capabilities and establishing

benchmarks for future capabilities. We would also like to understand in general how current cellar (including

wireless broadband) technologies cater to city planning. i was wondering if you can provide us some

guidance.

Our goal is to to create some basic conceptual level guidance for the city. Please reply to all because I want to

be as transparent as possible in this discussion. If you have time I can set up the meeting where all of us can

meet and listen to you
