We participated at the Salone del
Franchising with the dreams and fears of
all start-ups. Being the first time were, of
course, more fears than the certainties.
RdS took us by the hand and gave us a
fundamental support to give visibility to
our brand and our franchise idea taking
advantage of multiple channels and
multiple times during the four-day event.
Thanks to this strategy, the presence of
our dreams have defeated the fears and
gratified made this experience for us and
for our franchise.
Subway
The Expo of 2013 brought to the public
a showcase of great interest thanks
the participation of faithful brand,
who year after year demonstrate to
grow constantly and new franchisors
interesting and attractive. A similar
qualitative feedback also about visitors,
definitely oriented to discover valid
opportunities in the landscape of the
franchising. We have found the quality
and preparation, both in organization
and in public. The area of positioning
stand Subway, strategic vision and in the
heart of exhibition system, has yielded
significant improvements compared to
previous occasions. We are definitely
satisfied and we imagine that we can see
each other even in 2014.

definitely for a new idea the exhibition is

emerged stronger in several key points...
Firstly, the awareness of our idea, which
is essential for future investment, have
known entrepreneurs at the highest level,
the opportunity to close contracts and
figure out how to do to close them. We as
a start-up have gained a lot... Maybe the
best investment we have made.

The Salone Franchising Milano
is a professional fair of distribution
development-oriented of innovation in
the chain of commerce, understood in
the broadest sense: from e-commerce
to the franchising, from retail to
buying behaviors, networks, services,
technologies, marketing. is managed by
Rds & Company, a consulting firm for
retail and franchising that organizes it in
collaboration with Fiera Milano.
The protagonists
The heart of the Sfm is the group of
exhibiting companies, companies
that lead in the fair patterns, projects,
ideas, dreams, aspirations, and which
offer visitors about 200 proposals for
business, enterprise, self-employment.
Real opportunities to those who want to
invest and those seeking their way in the
industry.
The targets
Four main target to which the Sfm speaks.
The young men and women who want to
become entrepreneurs, women who seek
an alternative tailored to work reconciling
the family, those who are already
engaged in commerce or in franchising
who decide to develop or expand, large
or medium- sized investors, i.e. large
companies or funds or executives or
managers who decide to start their
own business or invest at the end of the
working career.
The tools
The Franchise Factory is a free
consultation service for exhibitors
and visitors, active in the days of Sfm
with a series of Desk where various
professionals are available to both those
who have an idea and wants to become
a franchisor, both of whom wants to
become franchisees. From counselor
to the expert of distribution chains and
business plan to the consultant for
internationalization: everyone can access
the FDesk and get hints by these experts
for the development of your project.
The FFactory is an initiative that has
developed Sfm to build instruments to
support those who want to do business.
The Franchising School is the space
dedicated to those who visit the Sfm to
approach the world of franchising and
start his own business. It has a goal of
literacy and introduction to the field,
of dissemination of knowledge. The
workshops provide basic information to
discover the franchising, opportunities for
self-employment, the manner in which to
approach the best the industry, including
an introduction to the Italian law
on franchising. Admission is free and
open to all.
The coverage
The Sfm is supported by a press
campaign that develops both through
advertising planning on offline and
online newspapers (Corriere della
Sera, Il Sole 24 Ore, Il Giornale, Radio
24, Millionaire, to AZ Franchising),
and through a series of major media
partnerships increasingly articulated (by
ANSA, Class, Radio Number One), and
through constant press office activity
that generates hundreds of releases and
articles dedicated to both event, both for
exhibitors, constantly promoted, thanks to
the network of social media.
