Executive Summary of Academic and Support Manpower Plan Introduction The Faculty of Nursing Universitas Indonesia (FON UI) has 105 teaching staff and 54 supporting staff. The entire workforce manages 1051 students from all study programs, including 695 Undergraduate Nursing Progam (UNP) students. Manpower plan managed by the vice dean for human resouces, finance and facilities. Current Manpower Status Faculty of Nursing Universitas Indonesia have six departement, which totaly consits of 105 academic staff. This number terbagi atas lectures, assistant professor, associate professor and professor, the level of lectures still dominated academic staff right now. In 2014, the recruitment of new academic staffs and return of some academic staffs from their study contributed to lowering the staff-to-student ratio. The ratio between academic staff and student is low according to The Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia Regulation, current academic staff to student ratio is 1/9. At present FON UI has sufficient number of supporting staff to assist the teaching learning process. Since the library management is centralized, the number of supporting staff does not include the librarian. Supporting staff position devides into nursing laboratory, computer laboratory, administration and others, half of which are at the bachelor level. The supporting staffs serve the students directly and support the maintenance of the facility. Staff Development Faculty and also university optimally facilitate staff to continuing their study to the highest level. Staff development build by system which controled and evaluated for all individual staff. Staffing information systems are use to describe staff curricullum vitae and also their employee status. Staff recruitment are standardized, transparant and evaluated which manage by the human resources division at faculty and university level. Recruitment staff is based on the existing result of need analysis and staff development flow. Based on the career development by this year, FON UI will have an additional six nursing professor. Recommendation Accelerate the development of academic staff education so that it remains the leading nursing education institution in Indonesia. Strive to increase the capacity of supporting staff so that they are able to align with the development of academic staff and support teaching learning optimally.
