Infrastructure - drones can perform hazardous work and acquire various data sets precisely and cost-effectively
Investment monitoring – support forproject during design process, construction phase and final work assessment
Maintenance –identification of defects faster, more thoroughly, cheaper and safer
Asset inventory – speed up of the process together with cost reduction and improvement of work safety
Pw C | page 8
Agriculture - sustainable increase of food production and prevention of environmental damage possible with drones
Crop supervision – large variety of cropmonitoring possibilities enhances the effectiveness
Soil and field analysis – application ofnecessary nutrients before sowing or data based planning of irrigation system
Health assessment – drones can spot the differences between healthy and distressed plants
Precise agriculture – thanks to precise maps of the filed, pesticides and water can be applied locally where needed
Pw C | page 9
Monitoring lines and sites – possibility of monitoring large and remote areas using of both live streaming cameras and sensors
Proactive reaction – possibility to spot dangerous situation for instance during the massive events
Security - drones can perform monitoring tasks quickly and efficiently
Pw C | page 10
Insurance - booming fraud and increasing damage from natural disasters are problems which can be solved
Risk monitoring – monitoring of threatened areas can support early warning system and hence prevent causalities and major damages
Risk assessment – support of the calculation of property value and causality damage thanks to accurate and precise data
Claims management & fraud prevention –prevention from fraud thanks to assessment of initial state of property and its condition after a reported incident
Pw C | page 11
Telecommunication - reduction of maintenance costs and becoming a part of infrastructure in the future
Maintenance enhancement – routine inspection of antennas without injury or life risk in shorter time and with lower costs
Future: Investment planning and network optimisation – support for radio-planning, performance of line-of-sight testing between the towers and examination of operators network
Future: Broadcasting telecommunication signals – providing the signal temporally or permanently for public events, rural areas or during natural disasters

Mining - drones can replace humans during dangerous jobs and increase effectiveness of open-pit mines
Planning – drones can provide geotechnical and hydrological data for open-pit mines
Exploration – drones can help in everyday tasks like soil sapling or tool delivery
Environment – drones are able to detect erosion, track changes in vegetation or defects
Reporting – mine’s digital model to supervise work progress and changes

Value delivered SolutionClient situation
• Plan to build ~2000 km of linear infrastructure throughout the country
• Over 60 separate construction sites spread all over the country
• Financing institutions expect reliable progress reporting
• Challenging environmental legislation
• History of previous legal disputes lost due to lack of proper documentation (ev idence)
• Replacing in-person surveillance with drone supported end-to-end investment monitoring process
• Weekly investment sites HD images capture from drones
• Geospatial data analysis and real time data processing to produce 3D models (dedicated software)
• Reports delivered to the client within 48h over a simple web browser based interface
• Full v iew of the construction site and real time progress monitoring
• Sy stematic information about number of working employees, machinery and used materials
• Early warning – delays & deviations from the project with 1 cm accuracy
• Detection of environmental protected zone trespassing
• Reduction of monitoring cost
• Reliable reporting to financing institution
• Full documentation in case of future litigation

Key barrier to the growth of drone solutions is lack of legal framework regarding drones flights – but not in Poland
Polish authorities developed regulatory framework that allows using drones for commercial purposes
Possibility to perform Beyond-Visual-Line-Of-Sight (BVLOS) flights
Training required for pilots in order to obtain license
Insurance required for commercial flights in order to provide coverage for risks of physical losses or liabilities during and after drone operations up to $100,000
Drone’s pilot is required to hold a drone operator license (UAVO) to perform commercial flights
In order to perform Beyond-Visual-Line-Of-Sight (BVLOS) flights drones pilots have to possess special license (UAVO BVLOS)
