The LSBF Summer and Winter Business School offers

intensive business courses aimed at university students from

all around the world, exposing you to the challenges of the

global marketplace. These courses fill the gaps that other

The Financial Management Programme (FMP) is a rigorous and

comprehensive four-week programme, in a modular format,

which will enhance the knowledge and skills of executives who

are in the early stages of their careers, or who wish to pursue

a position within finance. The programme will allow executives

to gain confidence and competencies within areas of finance

such as accounting and corporate finance, while exploring the

fundamental decisions faced by managers in the financial world.

Leadership development and coaching

dave coker Dave has over 25 years’ experience in international investment

banking, with expertise in Risk Management, Structured

Products and Portfolio Management. Having conducted

business in over 20 countries, he has gained valuable

experience during his employment with institutions such as

Deutsche Bank (New York, London & Frankfurt), Moody’s

(London), Dow Jones (New York) and EDS ABN AMRO Bank

(Amsterdam and London). Dave holds an MSc in Quantitative

Finance, an Executive MBA, and is also in the process of

completing his PhD in Finance.

Emanuela giangregorio Emanuela has been delivering bespoke professional training,

expert team-building and project consulting for over 14

years. She has trained employees from companies such as

Rothchild, Agrega, Zurich Financial Services and MasterCard

Worldwide. In 2001 she even established her own management

consultancy, operating across the globe.

In terms of her own education, Emanuela has a BSc degree in

Computer Science and a first class Honours degree in

Applied Mathematics.

carlton brown Carlton Brown has 25 years management experience,

15 years at Director Level, Carlton has track record for

delivering results. Carlton has extensive experience in leading

diverse teams, through his transformational and charismatic

leadership style, and, his pragmatic and innovative approach to

developing businesses and leading teams. Carlton is regarded

as a positive proactive, strategic visionary with a collaborative

management style. He is, also, a high calibre professional with

recognised business academic qualifications; MBA, PGDIP,

and, is currently undertaking a PHD within the area of business

performance management.

ben botes Ben holds an MBA from Surrey University (UK) and an MSc

in Psychology from Trinity College (USA). In addition to

being an experienced teacher, he is also an entrepreneur and

professional consultant. He founded Business Plan Whiz and

UK Business Planning; both web-portals, assisting first-time

business leaders and entrepreneurs. In 2006, Ben became the

youngest president of the European Coaching Institute. In his

most recent role as a Management Consultant, he coached

teams in multinational companies including Toyota, Accenture

and Hewlett-Packard.

barry goode Barry is an MCIPD-qualified human resources professional who

lectures on subjects related to strategy and corporate business

– both on academic courses and for LSBF’s corporate clients.

Barry has sixteen years’ experience at group director level and

has been an established consultant since 2001. He provides

expert training, consulting and transition support to companies

across a range of industry sectors, including banking and

finance, electronics and telecommunications. Barry’s strengths

lie in his pragmatic style and ability to translate business

strategy into actionable HR plans. Previous assignments include

strategic and HR operations, transformation, organisational

restructures, TUPE transfers and change management

projects. As an MBTI-qualified practitioner, Barry has also

facilitated the transition and development of new teams

following business restructures.

Paul bisping Paul Bisping holds both a both CFA accreditation and a degree

in Investment Management. With over 20 years’ experience,

he has gained extensive professional exposure to the financial

industry. This includes many positions in different equity

departments, the most recent being Head of Overseas

equities for Hermes Fund Managers.Paul teaches our executive

courses as well as lecturing for our Masters in Finance and

MBA programmes. He is also a consultant for numerous

preeminent investment firms in Central London. Paul has

a hands on approach when teaching financial topics, which

ensures students link theory to industry through real-world

case studies.

• An English language copy of your CV/résumé (no more than 2 sides of A4 to include previous work experience and educational history)

• Proof of English language proficiency

• A copy of your degree certificate and a translated copy of your courses transcripts (Post-Graduate programmes applicants only)

• A copy of your passport and all previous UK visas (where applicable)

• A recent passport size colour photograph of yourself, 45mm high by 35mm wide. Your photos must show a close-up of your full head and shoulders. It must be only of you with no other objects or people

• A valid email address. The majority of communication will be done via email so it is very important that we have a correct address for speedy correspondence

Instructions on how to pay tuition fees are included in the Offer Letter. Course places are not secure until tuition fees are paid in full. Payment can be made by Credit/Debit Card, Cheque, or Bank Transfer. Please note that bank transfers take up to 5 working days to clear within our accounts. Payment can be made in currency other than pounds sterling https://www.gcen.co.uk/lsbf/ and following the simple on-screen instructions. LSBF students can take advantage of preferential rates. All payments are applied towards the costs of tuition fees for the programme. As such, all deposit payments received are for the sole purpose of reserving a place on the course and are non-refundable.

Students are responsible for payment of all bank fees and charges that may result from the transfer of money.

Once the application is received, it will be evaluated and a conditional or unconditional Offer letter will be sent within 48 hours. You will then have 14 days to make a full payment.

Enrolment happens once full tuition fees have been paid. The Enrolment Letter includes all course information.

Q: Who do I contact for help choosing the right course?

A: You can speak to a Programme Consultant who knows our

programme portfolio well. They will be able to match your

experience and interest to the appropriate course. Please send

us a brief personal statement and your CV to executive@lsbf.

co.uk and a programme advisors will contact you directly.

Q: What level of attendance is required?

A: You are expected to keep a 100% attendance rate.

In order to pass the course, participants are required to

attend a minimum of 80% of the classes. Participants who do

not meet this requirement will not receive a certificate.

If circumstances arise that mean you are not able to attain

this level of attendance you should explain this to your Student

Support Officer who will advise you on how to catch up,

or discuss retaking the programme if you wish through the

following intake.

Q: How much self-study is required?

A: For courses that carry accreditation there is a certain

amount of self-study that is required. Please check in the

course description or contact your Programme Advisor for

more information. For non-accredited courses there is a

recommended reading list, and from time to time certain

courses set assignments. All students are encouraged to make

the most of your study time.

Q: Are LSBF’s Executive Educations courses accredited?

A: All our courses carry Continual Professional Development

(CPD) accreditation. Some of the courses also carry academic

credits that can count towards higher levels of achievement

such as a Masters or MBA course. Please check with your

chosen university what their requirements are.

Q: Can LSBF help me find accommodation?

A: LSBF has several options of accommodation depending

on your needs and desires. We can help you find hotel

accommodation at preferential rates for short courses. Or for

longer stays we have student accommodation or home stays

that can be arranged.
