EXCLUSIVE GOURMET TOUR AT ITALY’S OLDEST WINERY CASTELLO BROLIO’S Gourmet Tour will offer you the opportunity to taste the historic Chianti Classico estate’s best wines accompanied by specially selected dishes for an unforgettable experience.

The tour will begin at the wine shop where the guide will meet you. After a brief welcome, you will be taken to the Brolio castle which has been owned by the Ricasoli family since 1141. The castle visit includes a tour of the magnificent gardens, the family’s chapel and private museum. The visit continues in the spacious cellars where the wines of Barone Ricasoli were born. Here you can view the authentic aging and refining rooms to really understand the elaborate process of winemaking. The main highlight of this tour will be the unique food and wine pairing dinner. Your guide will remain with you through the dinner to share information about the Italian food culture including an introduction to the world of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Each course, specifically created by Castello Brolio’s chef, will be accompanied by one of the estate’s top wines with explanations about the wines as well as the pairing concepts.
