Services are provided throughout the year to prepare

students and help those secure placements. The numberof students placed through campus placement programs

is on the rise every year.

Guidelines for the Campus Recruitment Training programs organized by the

VIT UniversitysPlacement centre

1. The number of students eligible per college for training is given in themail. Only those many number of students will be allowed for training.

2. Campus Recruitment training program shall be organized for all the

registered students at VIT campus in the months of March / April, 2014.

The students shall be trained on technical and soft skills. The Training

programs would be conducted at VIT.

3. Training fee of Rs. 2248 (Rs.2000+12.36 % service tax) and Placement

Registration Fee of Rs 3360(Rs 3000+12.36% ST) shall be collected

from each student. The training fee shall not be refunded for any

reason. The fee collected pertains ONLY for training programs and notfor group recruitment registration, that would be done later.

4. Only students who attend the training programme will be allowed to do

registration for attending the group recruitment organized by VIT

Placement centre later, subject to confirmation from the companies.

The criteria for short listing (if need be) would be notified before theregistration. Hence, it is mandatory for all the students aspiring to

participate in the group campus recruitments organized by the VIT

University to attend the training programmes.

5. Attending the training programmes does not guarantee a student ofgetting short listed for group recruitment registration or getting a job.

5. Unregistered students shall not be allowed to attend any training

programme at VIT. The college shall be held responsible, if any

unregistered student attends any training.
