DESCRIPTION: Caribbean music origins come from the Western Hemisphere colonial immigration

patterns, the resulting melting pot of people each of its nations and territories, and thus resulting influx of original musical influences.

Colonial Caribbean ancestors were predominantly from West Africa and West Europe. So there is a mixing of many traditional music styles in it, that provides a special set of sounds and rhythms.
