Ethanol is burned in a 10 kW furnace with 10% excess air. Products of complete combustion leave the furnace at 500 K. Assuming that the fuel enters at 298 K as a liquid and that the air is drawn in at 298 K, please complete the following.

a) Find the mole fraction of oxygen (O2) in the products.b) Find the fuel flow rate for the furnace operation at the rated 10 kW heat transfer to an external load.

c) Find the furnace efficiency defined as the actual heat transfer divided by the maximum possible heat transfer.
