6. Implementation
Cover at a high level the process and timeline to implement the proposed solution. Dont go into more detail here than you need to to make the sale (save that for the project plan later). Include any resource requirements that you will need from the customer.
7. Timeline
Summarize the timeline for the proposed implementation (briefly). You can follow the example of the chart below change it to meet your needs.
8. Deliverables List any explicit deliverables from the proposed engagement or implementation. What are you the vendor responsible for, and what is the customer responsible for? Are there any third party dependencies?
9. Fees Include all relevant fees here: license fees, service fees, consulting fees, etc.

10. Terms and Conditions
This Proposal is subject to the following conditions and by signing the proposal, the Customer accepts these conditions as binding: -
1. Validity.
This proposal and the amounts quoted herein shall remain valid for acceptance for period of (14) days from the date of issue thereof. At the expiry of this period, the proposal will lapse:-
1.1.1. unless otherwise extended by written agreement between Sage Pastel and the Customer; and
1.1.2. subject to any amendment to this proposal which Sage Pastel may, in its discretion and without reservation, choose to make.
2. Estimates.
In view of the susceptibility of currency to fluctuating market conditions, the rates quoted in this proposal in respect of Sage Pastels fees and charges are only estimates and may change at any time and without notice prior to the acceptance hereof. Sage Pastel can therefore only provide the actual rates on acceptance of this proposal.
3. Mode of contracting.
The contents of this Proposal do not, and should not be interpreted to, constitute an agreement between Sage Pastel and the Customer. Should the Proposal be acceptable to the Customer, then mutually acceptable agreements will be entered into between Sage Pastel and the Customer. The terms and conditions of such agreements will be governed by the terms and conditions stipulated in the Sage Pastels Maintenance, Software License and Consulting Services Agreements. Any such agreements will include, amongst other things, the terms governing maintenance, software licensing, consulting services, implementation, support and system requirements in respect of the system offered by Sage Pastel in its response and also stipulate Sage Pastels general terms and conditions of contracting and describe in detail the specific Services and/or Goods to be provided by Sage Pastel, including any additional terms and conditions relating thereto.
4. No deviation.
No deviation from or variation of these conditions shall be allowed or permitted unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing by Sage Pastel or its duly authorized representative.

11. Business Assumptions
The list below summarizes the assumptions made in preparing this proposal. Variations to these assumptions may directly impact the proposed pricing schedule and the ability to deliver the services within the target time ranges.
1. The entire implementation will take place at one location unless otherwise specified. 2. The implementation is for financials with the relevant modules quoted. 3. The client will provide a resource that will be trained to assist other users and provide first line support.
4. Users are computer literate and understand computer fundamentals.
5. The client will provide suitable resources to capture master-file information and data, unless otherwise
agreed upon.
6. Client staff will be trained to capture information where relevant.
7. The client is free to enter into a Service Level Agreement with the respective Certified Business Partners. This has no bearing in any way on Sage Pastel.
8. Suitable computer hardware, data backup devices, operating systems, database, network and other
infrastructures are in place, sound and stable. Softline Sage will be pleased to provide you with the hardware requirement if required.
9. Sage Pastel on request can refer specialist IT infrastructure companies to the client, who will be able to
provide specialist services on LAN/WAN and IT hardware.
10. The client will grant on request, access to the required servers should remote access support need to be administered.
