Ms. Veronica Inocencio SPOTLIGHT STAFF MEMBER! My name is Veronica Inocencio, I am a medical assistant. This is my first year being a health office aid in a school setting. I enjoy spending my free time with my two daughters, baking, doing arts and crafts, and playing sports. I choose Luna Primary because I love being around kids and being able to promote a healthy school environment for our scholars. Mi nombre es Veronica Inocencio, soy un asistente

médico. Este es mi primer año siendo una ayuda de la

oficina de salud en el ambiente escolar. Me gusta

ASISTENCIA A LA ESCUELA

Padres de Luna Primaria, es imperativo que todos los escolares

asistan a la escuela diariamente. Los escolares pierden tiempo

de aprendizaje y se atrasan con su trabajo del diario. Favor de

asegurarse que su hijo(a) llegue a la escuela a tiempo para poder

recibir el desayuno gratis y también para no interrumpir el resto

de la clase al llegar tarde. La asistencia de su escolar no solo le

afecta a su hijo(a) sino también a toda la escuela. Ayúdenos a

tener 100% de asistencia en la clase todos los días.

RECORDATORIOS

Acompáñenos a Donas con la Directora este jueves, 27 de

Octubre de 8:30-9:30am.

Book It: El día 31 de octubre, maestros(as) y escolares son alentados a

vestirse como su personaje favorito de un libro. ¡Se llevara a cabo un

concurso del mejor disfraz de Book It, por nivel de grado!

Por favor ponga el nombre de su escolar en su suéter. Recuérdele a su

escolar de poner el suéter en su mochila cuando no lo esté usando.

Usa tu camiseta, sudadera de tu equipo deportivo favorito con tu uniforme. 28 de octubre ¡Mantente libre de drogas usando tus pantalones de

mezclilla y camisa Universitaria o de Uplift Luna!

front office or send with your scholar.

Items to bring per grade level:

Kindergarten – Dum Dums, Kit Kat Crisp

Wafers, Smarties, Nerds, Starburst (fun size,

individually wrapped, no peanuts)

1st grade – bottled water case and juice boxes

2nd grade- hot dog buns, weenies

3rd grade – bags of nacho chips, cans of nacho

cheese sauce, pickled jalapeños

4th grade- cans of sweet whole corn,

mayonnaise, sour cream, butter

5th grade- soft drink cans, Coke, Sprite, Fanta,

etc.

Your scholar will receive 2 tickets per item

donated.

Our school Festival is just around the corner, November 11th

from 5-7:30pm! We need volunteers to help with games,

concession stand, raffles and more!

IB LEARNER PROFILE

Our IB learner profile for the month of October is Risk-taker. Being

a risk-taker as a Luna PS scholar means exploring new concepts and

innovative strategies. Scholars who are risk-takers, show bravery in

each situation.

Throughout this month, plan three ways you can take risk at home or at school. Track these goals in a visible location in your home. Talk with your teacher and family member about ways you showed courage and bravery.

A Criminal Background Check must be

completed EACH school year for ALL volunteers.

If you are not sure if you have completed one,

run the background check.
