Want the latest phone, but not a mammoth contract? You’ve opened the right booklet. With O2 Lease,
you can get the latest phone for 12 months.
Without paying a penny upfront.
How it worksIt’s just like any other loan. We give you a new
phone. You enjoy it and look after it. Then when
the time comes, simply hand it back.
Welcome
The advantages of O2 Lease• Keep up to date with the latest smartphones
• Swerve lengthy contracts
• Keep your options open
Take careA lot of butter fi nger moments can happen
in a year. That’s why we recommend using a
screen cover and case with your lease phone.
So you can protect it against slips, scrapes and
fumbles. Ready for the day you return it.
You can cover your phone against loss, theft
and major damage too with O2 Insure. Ask to
sign up at your O2 shop.
Here’s the deal
Top tipsHow can I keep my lease phone in good nick?Using a screen cover and case will help protect
it. They’re a smart move; if you send the phone
back damaged, we’ll have to charge you.
What if someone steals my phone or I lose it?If you have O2 Insure, just make a valid claim
and get a replacement. Make sure you send
the replacement phone back to us when your
lease ends, or you’ll get charged.
What if I damage my phone badly? If you have O2 Insure, you’ll be covered
against accidental damage. You need to claim
before you send the phone back to us or you
will be charged for any damage. Check out
the list on the back page for more info.
Can I give or sell my handset to someone else?Afraid not. It’s up to you to return your lease
phone. And if you don’t, you will be charged.
Check out the list on the back page for more info.
Do you want the phone back before I upgrade? If you’re upgrading in an O2 shop, we’ll ask for
it then. So make sure you’ve backed everything
up, from contacts to photos.
If you upgrade over the phone, you get five
days to return it. That gives you time to transfer
everything onto the new phone. We’ll send you
packaging to return it in.
How will I know the phone’s arrived after I return it?We’ll let you know as soon as we get it, and
if everything’s in order. But it’s up to you to
make sure it gets here. So maybe using Special
Delivery’s a good idea.
Can I buy the phone at the end of the contract? No. You can return your lease phone and pick one
of the latest handsets on a new lease. Or choose a
phone on a standard business tariff.
Taking care of your shiny new lease phoneYou’ll start your lease with a brand new
phone. But a year later, it could be looking
a bit on the shabby side.
Take a look at the list to see what charges
will apply if something happens to your
lease phone.
Remember, using a screen cover and case
will help protect your lease phone.
As good as new?
Getting your lease phone back in good shapeSending back your lease phone’s a piece of cake.
Just pop into an O2 shop, and we’ll do it for you.
Or give us a call, and we’ll send you packaging
so you can do it yourself. Make sure you back
everything up fi rst. You get fi ve days to do it,
so that should be plenty of time.
Once we receive your phone, we’ll give it the
once-over. Hopefully it’ll all be fi ne. But if it’s
damaged, we’ll have to charge you. To fi nd out
how much, look at the list on the reverse.
Remember, if you’ve damaged or lost the phone,
you may be able to make an insurance claim –
check your policy. But you need to do this before
the end of your lease.
