Everyone Needs a Family

Psalm 68:6 (NLT)

God places the lonely in families;

he sets the prisoners free and gives them joy.

But for rebels, there is only famine and distress.

His unchanging plan has always been to

adopt us into his own family by bringing

us to himself through Jesus Christ. And

this gave him great pleasure.

So now you Gentiles are no longer

strangers and foreigners. You are citizens

along with all of God's holy people. You

are members of God's family.

So you should not be like cowering, fearful

slaves. You should behave instead like God's very

own children, adopted into his family—calling

him "Father, dear Father."(Daddy, God)

In a perfect family, kids would be taught by

precept and example about loving God,

relationships, marriage, values, finances,

sexuality, personal identity, responsibility,

and everything necessary for life!

Everyone Needs a Family

But there is no perfect family!

We all need to learn God’s ways and

grow in grace and the knowledge of

Jesus!

The Family of God is the primary design

for this to happen in our lives.
