Operating on four continents, and in numerous countries, our licensed professionals have performed engineering earthquake damage assessments and analysis at the site of more than twenty separate earthquakes, most recently including: Christchurch and Wellington New Zealand, Fukushima Japan, and Mexicali, Mexico, among others. We are experienced in evaluating structures to determine the cause and extent of damage, developing remedial design solutions, and efficiently returning structures to their pre-event condition.

With a firm deeply rooted in the design and remedial retrofit of structures, both new and existing, our team utilizes their understanding of building performance to develop practical solutions to mitigating damage through a detailed understanding of how buildings respond to earthquake stresses. Combining years of field experience with technical training, we have contributed to the design and construction industry’s standards and building codes. Our professionals provide solutions to complex engineering challenges to create safer structures, limit earthquake damage and the resultant loss of property use and value.

In addition to our structural engineers, we also utilize a multidisciplinary team of professionals including: architects, façade and building envelope experts, along with our mechanical, electrical, and plumbing team to provide a collaborative approach to resolving complex problems. This approach enables us to minimize building disruptions and return a structure to full functionality in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
