Navigation Acts1.Sugar Act(1764) Lowered taxes on Molasses imported by colonist. 2. Currency act: This act made lost money or currency belong to the government. The Colonial Response:It angered colonist since before the French and Indian War they did not pay any taxes.

Proclamation of 1763:It secured Native Indian rights. It stop all the colonist from moving across the Appalachian Mountains.Colonial Response:It anger the colonist and make them feel unhappiness towards the British.

Stamp Act (1765):This act taxed anything printed on paper or any paper material. For ex. Playing cards, newspaper, etc. It made colonist buy a stamp that is placed on the printed material .Colonial Response:Samuel Adams Started the Sons of liberty.

Sons of LibertyThis group was made by Samuel Adams. This group protested and boycotted the stamp act. The sons of liberty also attacked the British Commanders for ex. In one event they placed tar on two British commanders and place chicken feathers on them.

Declaratory Act(1765):It was approved by King George III. It stated that the parliament had full command and authority over the legislation in the colonies.Colonial Response: This angered the colonists.

Quartering Act(1765):This act made the colonist quarter or give shelter and food to British soldiers.Colonial Response:This angered the colonist.

Townshend Acts(1767):This act made colonist pay tax on glass, tea, papers, etc. Colonial Response:The women started the Daughters of Liberty. The Daughters of liberty started protesting, boycotting, and making their own clothes and more.The picture is the Daughters of Liberty.

Boston Massacre (March 5,1770)When a crowd of colonists surround a colonist screaming at a soldier they start throwing snowballs at the soldiers. So after more commotion started more soldiers came in at started shooting. The first o die was a slave named Crispus Attucks. The result was that propaganda was used to make it look really evil of the British. The picture is an example of how the Colonist leaders use propaganda.

Tea Act/ Tea Party(1773)The tea act made the East India Company ship tea to the colonist without paying most of the taxes. The British expected the colonist to buy this tea, but this tea was nasty and almost to the point it was spoiled.The result was the Sons of Liberty put on costumes of native American and boarded the ships and threw 342 chests of tea to Boston Harbor. This was known as the Tea Party( December 16 1773).

Coercive/Intolerable Acts(1774)This act stop colonist attacks, made them pay for the tea, stop the trade between Boston and Britain, canceled town meetings, and it closed Boston harbor.Result: The Colonists spirit of revolution starts!!!(Picture is example about revolution)
