Call for Photography! “A Picture of Health in North Central Washington” A new traveling exhibit cel-ebrating the many aspects of wellness. Presented in partnership with the Initia-tive for Rural Innovation and Stewardship, Communi-ty Choice Health and Educa-tion Institute and the Moses Lake Museum & Art Center. Entries due Friday, January 8, 2016. We believe everyone has a story that can inspire someone else. Our goal is to bring those stories to light so they can grow, broadening perspectives and enliven-ing action along the way. It’s simple. Approximately 20 photos illustrating all
aspects of whole person health will be selected for the 2016 traveling exhibit developed by IRIS and Commu-nity Choice. Additional photos from Grant County will be featured in the exhibit’s first stop at the Moses Lake Museum & Art Center. Share Your Story. HoW does tHemain Street tax credit incentive
program WorK?
The Main Street Tax Credit Incentive Program provides a Business & Occupation (B&O) or Public Utility Tax (PUT) credit for private contributions given to eligible
downtown organizations. Once your business’s donation request is approved by the Department of Revenue, you are eligible for a tax credit worth 75% of the
contribution to your downtown revitalization organization.
There is a state cap on the Main Street tax credits of $1.5 million per year, so it’s on a first-come, first-serve basis starting January 1st. Don’t delay!
MLBA can receive donations totaling up to $133,333.33 per year.

Maybe you have heard the recent guidelines about walking 10,000 steps per day. How far is 10,000 steps anyway? The average person’s stride length is approximately 2.5 feet long.
