May 6th to 8th 2015 , SIAL CHINA launched the 1st China National Specialty Tea Brewers Cup Event with great success.

This event was endorsed by Café Culture and AASTA and sponsored by Brita Water Purification System. After two rounds of “close service” and “open service” competitions, 6 out of 22 players entered the finale on the morning of May 8th . With their own creativeness, the finalists were required to understand the tastes of tea leaves, combine them with other natural food materials and demonstrate innovations to present a decent cup of tea on the prescribed theme. It witnessed the top three players for the 1st edition. With 330 as the full score, the Champion topped the second with only 0.3. What a close match it was!

The third edition of Seafood Fest’ was held successfully. 14 sessions within 3 days attracted 251 professional visitors and more than 40 journalists and media. 36% of the visitors were from HORECA industry.

With the strong support of Hainan Fisheries Office, Weihai Fisheries Bureau, Ease Scent Wine Education Group as well as MSC, this event invited Mr. Jin Liang, a prestigious chef to perform a live culinary dem-onstration along with famous educators from Ease Scent.

In addition, the largest Chinese aquatic enterprise ZHANGZIDAO to-gether with MSC initiated the new consumption concepts of “Sustainable Fisheries for a Fresher Life” onsite.

The 5th edition of Chocolate World comes shining!

With four carefully selected sponsors, the 4th edition of Chocolate World saw 14 sessions successfully held within 3 days that attracted over 550 professional visitors.

Among all the sessions, the “Chef Show” and “MAXIM’S Show” were the two biggest highlights of this edition. The former involved a contestant line-up of chefs from top 5 hotel management groups. Mr. Yang Jun, the pastry chef from Beijing Parkview Wuzhou Hotel was crowned with the laurel of dessert. “MAXIM’S Show” presented a brand new chocolate-making demon-stration in the form of a drama. At the same time, it collaborated with three-star Michelin chefs to hand-make chocolate truffles on-site and created an elegant Salon with French wine and chocolate, pushing this exhibition to new heights.
