of R4, Christopher Green. Bring your ideas alive and find your perfect partner for projects that will be showcased at the 3rd Festival of

the Mind in 2016. The event is free and offers funding to make the best creations happen.

Since 2011, we have seen academics from diverse disciplines such as Nanotechnology, English,

Architecture, Psychology and Biomedical Science teaming up with artists, poets, magicians and musicians in Sheffield to create many unique projects.

What’s Next?If you want to take part and meet your future partner, please register via the webpage at: www.sheffield.ac.uk/ideasbazaar

After the Ideas Bazaar has taken place we will put further details of how to apply for funding on www.sheffield.ac.uk/ideasbazaar by the beginning of October 2015. Applications for projects will be welcomed from October 2015-December 2015. Notifications of successful applications will be made in February 2016.

Festival of The Mind - The Mobile UniversityFRIDAY 25 - SUNDAY 27 SEPTEMBER 2015Various City Centre locations, Sheffield

This year the Festival of the Mind team are once again bringing our world classresearch out to you! So join us on board the vintage bus for The Mobile University where researchers will bring their research to life through FREE lectures, activities and demonstrations.

At the first Mobile University in 2013, we heard about robotic honeybees, ocean power, stem cells, nerve regeneration and much more. This year’s programme will be announced soon so watch this space….

The Mobile University will be stopping off at several locations in the city:

• Friday 25 September – Barkers Pool, Sheffield City Centre• Saturday 26 September – The Moor, Sheffield City Centre• Sunday 27 September – Devonshire Green, Sheffield City Centre

Ideas Bazaar

Courses available for students, university staff and the general public.

Most of the courses are approx 3 hours per week for 12 weeks (following university semester dates). A wide range of languages from beginners to advanced levels.
