One day international webinar on "Incredible India: A Melting Pot of Diversity" was organized

on 16th June, 2020 under the banner of "Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat" campaign by Km.

Mayawati Govt. Girls P.G. College, Badalpur, G.B.Nagar. On this occasion 3157 participants

from 31 states and union territories of India and 15 major countries of the world, were

presented. In which the Principals, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, Teachers,

Students and Scholars of various other fields graced the occasion with their participation. On

this occasion, the webinar was presided over by Prof. (Dr.) Divya Nath, Principal, KMGGPG

College, Badalpur, G.B.Nagar. Prof.(Dr.) Chrysanthemum Massar, Principal, Lady Keane

College, Shillong, Meghalaya and Dr. Iaisan Mawthoh , Principal, Nongstein College, Khasi

Hills, Meghalaya State College, coupled with the college under the "Ek Bharat Shreshtha

Bharat" campaign, were present as distinguished invitees.

The program started with the Saraswati Vandana presented by Dr. Babli Arun, in-charge of

the Music Department and Cultural Program In-Charge of "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat"

campaign. After which all the guests and participants were welcomed by the webinar

convener and the Nodal Incharge of "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat" campaign Lt. (Dr.)

Meenakshi Lohani.

A detailed lecture titled "Historical, Political and Cultural Diversity in India" was presented by

Dr. Sri Prakash Singh, Professor of Political Science, University of Delhi, Delhi, invited as the

Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker where he presented the science hidden in ancient Indian

Sanatan culture and texts along with scientific evidence and facts.

As a distinguished speaker, Prof. (Dr.) Rajeev Verma, Department of Music, University of

Delhi, Delhi presented sequentially "Various streams of Indian music" and made everyone

aware of the different notes of the sitar by playing the sitar to the tune of Mirabai's hymn.

Indian Geography with pictures in reference to Himalayas was presented by Dr. Bindhy Wasini

Pandey, invited as the third distinguished speaker from the Department of Geography of Delhi

School of Economics, University of Delhi, Delhi.

A case study based on life and culture of nomadic community in Himalayan region was

presented by Dr. Sanjeev Sharma of Center for Study of Regional Development, Jawahar

Nehru University, Delhi.

After that Dr. Rahul Patel from the Department of Anthropology of Central University,

Allahabad presented a scientific explanation of the civilization and culture of the tribes of

India along with their natural healing methods.

As a guest speaker, Dr. Vibha Pathak of Children's Health Council, California, United States of

America, presented her research paper on "Prospects of Medical Tourism in India".

A case study titled "Promotion of Tourism in India through Remote Sensing and Geo Spatial

Technology" was presented by Dr. Vandita Srivastava, invited as guest speaker from Indian

Institute of Remote Sensing, Dehradun.

In the concluding session, the webinar was addressed by Prof.(Dr.) Chrysanthemum Massar,

Principal, Lady Keane College, Shillong, Meghalaya and Dr. Iaisan Mawthoh , Principal,

Nongstein College, Khasi Hills, Meghalaya where they appreciated whole-heartedly the

efforts of Km. Mayawati Govt. Girls P.G. College Badalpur. In its Presidential address, Prof.

(Dr.) Divya Nath, Principal, KMGGPGC Badalpur presented the framework of the college for

achieving the objectives and goals of the "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat" campaign. She

emphasized on converting disaster into opportunity to fulfill the vision of Akhand Bharat.

On this occasion, senior members of the college Dr. Dinesh Chandra Sharma and Dr. Kishor

Kumar were presented as technical experts, under whose able direction the entire program

could run uninterrupted. The question answer session was conducted by linguistic expert of

"Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat" campaign Dr. Vijeta Gautam, where all the questions of the

participants were answered satisfactorily. At the end, Vote of thanks was extended by Dr.

Shilpi, Chief Advisor of "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat" campaign. Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, Organising

Secretary, compered the proceedings of the webinar successfully. On this occasion, the

presence and cooperation of all the teachers and members of the college was commendable.

ऑफ़ अमेररका की डॉ. हवभा पाठक द्वारा "भारत में मेहडकल टूररज्म की संभावनाओ"ं पर अपना शोधपत्र प्रिुत

हकया र्या। इंहडयन इंस्टीटू्यट ऑफ ररमोट सेस्तिंर्, देिरादून से आमंहत्रत डॉ.वंहदता श्रीवािव द्वारा "प्रमोशन

ऑफ टूररज़म इन इंहडया थू्र ररमोट सेंहसंर् एंड हजओ सै्पहटयल टेक्नोलॉजी" शीर्गक पर अपना शोध अध्ययन

प्रिुत हकया र्या।

समापन सत्र में लेडी कीन कॉलेज,हशलांर् की प्राचायाग प्रोफेसर (डॉ) हिसेंहिमुम मस्सार तिा नोरं्स्टाइन

कॉलेज,खासी हिल्स की प्राचायाग डॉ. लैसन मौिोव द्वारा वेहबनार को संबोहधत हकया र्या। जिााँ उन्ोनें संस्िा के

प्रयासो ंकी मुक्त कंठ से प्रशंसा की। अपने अध्यक्षीय संबोधन में संस्िा की प्राचायाग द्वारा "एक भारत शे्रष्ठ भारत"

अहभयान के उदे्दश्ो ंएवम लक्ष्ो ंकी प्रास्ति िेतु संस्िा की रूपरेखा को सभी के समक्ष प्रिुत हकया र्या। संस्िा

की प्राचायाग द्वारा अखण्ड भारत की पररकल्पना को पूणग करने िेतु आपदा को अवसर में पररवहतगत करने की

बात किी र्यी। इस अवसर पर मिाहवद्यालय के वररष्ठ सदस्य डॉ. हदनेश चंद्र शमाग एवं डॉ हकशोर कुमार द्वारा

तकनीकी हवशेर्ज्ञ के रूप में उपस्तिि रिे हजनके हनदेशन में समू्पणग कायगिम व्यवधान रहित चल सका। प्रश्न

उत्तर सत्र का संचालन एक भारत शे्रष्ठ भारत अहभयान की भार्ाई हवशेर्ज्ञ डॉ. हवजेता र्ौतम द्वारा हकया र्या

जिां प्रहतभाहर्यो ंके समि प्रश्नो ंके उत्तर हदए र्ए।अंत में "एक भारत शे्रष्ठ भारत अहभयान" की प्रमुख सलािकार

डॉ.हशल्पी द्वारा सभी को धन्यवाद ज्ञाहपत हकया र्या।समू्पणग वेहबनार का सफल एवं सुव्यवस्तस्ित संचालन वेहबनार
