bike Obviously, we love this option. If you can bike to City Hall Plaza, we encourage it!

MBTA The MBTA is a great way to get to City Hall Plaza. However, some restrictions do exist for traveling with a bike. The info below should help you plan your trip if taking the train or bus.

BIKES ALLOWED:

no bikes ALLOWED:

Blue Line, Orange Line, Red Line, Commuter Rail, Ferry, Bus and Silver Line (on racks)

GREEN LINE, MATTAPAN TROLLEY

drive If you need to drive into the event, park in the vicinity of City Hall Plaza. Street parking in Boston is free on Sundays. How nice is that?!

If you can’t find street parking or if you prefer to park in a garage, Spot Hero is our preferred parking partner. It’s easy! Download the Spot Hero app and book your parking in advance for best rates.

Remember to remove your bike from roof racks before entering a garage.

Additionally, bikes are not allowed on platforms in these stations:

▶ Park Street ▶ Downtown Crossing ▶ Government Center

Folding bikes are allowed on all services at all times if they’re completely folded. Motorized bikes and vehicles are not allowed on the T at any time. Visit mbta.com for customized travel directions using the Trip Planner.
