INTRODUCTION –Bullet chess is a type of chess game in which each side is given less time to make their moves than under the normal tournament time controls of 5 minutes per player.

CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING POINTS WORTH NOTING:

1. The play will be governed by the FIDE Laws of Chess. A common rule used in fast chess tournaments is that if a player makes an illegal move, the player’s opponent may point it out and claim a win.

2. Participants must bring chess clock and chess board with them. “Chess clock” means a clock with two time displays, connected to each other in such a way that only one of them can run at one time. “Clock” in the Laws of Chess means one of the two time displays. “Flag fall” means the expiry of the allotted time for a player.

3. The arbiter decides where the chess clock is placed. 4. A player must stop his clock with the same hand as that with which he made his move. It is

forbidden to keep the finger on the button or to “hover” over it. 5. If the game needs to be interrupted, the arbiter shall stop the clock. 6. A player may stop the clock in order to seek the arbiter's assistance. 7. The arbiter shall decide when the game is to be restarted. 8. Win - 1 point; Draw-1/2 points; Loss- 0 points 9. In case of a tied score, Swiss Perfect Software will decide the winner.
