By December 31,2008, EvansCoghill had con-structed 14 homesincorporatinggreen features andhad sold 12 ofthem.

We nominate Evans Coghill for the GreenBuilding Advocate Of The Year for theirgenerous commitment to bringing greendesign and build practices to mainstreamhomebuilding.

That commitment was displayed throughtheir extensive educational efforts aimed atRealtors® and consumer, as well as the actualconstruction of a number of homes offeringgreen design features at a range of pricepoints. All of which required the risk ofconsiderable financial and time resources inthe midst of an economic downturn.
