I had previously never used a blog before so this was something I had to adapt to and learn how to use however it was very easy to get to grips with and was easily accessible.

It is similar to many social networking sites like Facebook which I do have so it was not too hard to adapt to the minor differences between the two softwares.

I was able to publish new posts and upload presentations I made using the embed code.

I was unaware that you could only upload jpeg files and not psd files but after discovering this there were no other problems with the software and it was extremely useful in the process of completing this coursework.

I was a little familiar with the use of Photoshop as it was the software I had to use to construct a perfume advert for my media coursework in year 11

However it was not as complicated as this and from the process of creating this magazine I have become much more skilled with the use of Photoshop and have learnt how to use many tools on the software.

I learnt how to use the magic wand tool which easily allows you to cut out and crop images which is more successful than the lasso tool I used to use

I used the bevel and emboss and outer glow on my masthead to make it stand out more and enhance my brand identity.

Also the blending options to adapt your text and make it more eye-catching.

I used slideshare to upload PowerPoint presentations that I used in my blog for my evaluation and other things.

After uploading the presentations I had to copy the embed code to the post on the blog.
