Evaluation Question 5How did you attract/address your audience?

How I attracted the audience In order to attract the audience, firstly we needed to think about what

props and location would suit to the attraction for the people to come and view.

Our props included a gun, to show violence but more importantly, power. To show in depth of the power of a gun, we had the government official (whom also has power with his status) to slap the average man across the face with the gun, to show that its main feature is to shoot people, but it could be used as a melee weapon instead.

At the end when the CCTV footage breaks down, it shows that something is going to happen to the average man, something that would change his life forever, which begins the story that everyone needs and wants to know.

Films I used to create the attraction The beginning of the film is inspired by such films as Fight Club where

the beginning of the film starts with the ending and the next scene starts with the real beginning working towards the ending – showing the journey of how my average man got to be captured by the official.

The whole concept of being a conspiracy thriller was inspired by such films as Enemy of the State, showing the corruption of the government and the government official trying to prevent the document from getting into the wrong hands that can either unveil the location or identity of very secret people or secret operations that can cause an upset and a war.

Both films are widely known all around the world

names on the right hand side and the genre of the film on the left hand side. I also put ‘OUT NOW’ to show that the short film is out and also because we went to view all of the short films created in AS Media classes at the local cinema The Screen on the Green in Angel Islington’s Upper Street.
